And as good as his numbers are, he's hit a few to the deepest part of the park that JUST missed going out. He's the best clean hitter I've ever seen. The fact he plays a really good centerfield, and, despite not great sprint speed, is a very good base runner, is just unfair to the rest of the league.

Aaron Judge held court for two consecutive days. Today, he and Soto hit back-to-back home runs. This is a great thing for the Yankees recently. I hope the pitching staff can be motivated by this and return to the momentum before May.

As long as the money is close, I think he stays a Yankee. Judge is easily the best protection any player can have right now. Gotta be hard to turn your back on that. Particularly since the biggest spender is likely to be the Mets who would protect him in the lineup with... Well, I don't even know.

34 Homeruns before the Allstar break means he needs at least 10 games with 2 homeruns and then the rest 1 Homerun games to finish out the season to reach 60 plus homeruns. Still an extremely difficult feat to pull off at this point. 42 homeruns before the break would be the minimal great number to have if striving for Homerun Legend Season Homers to make it to having Statues of you and Hall of Fame stuff and whatever else those guys get for doing all that. More fans buying their baseball cards in hope to get them signed and sold later on in life.

@@user-xf4cv2xr8b That's to make it more plausible for him to reach 60 plus homeruns with various games where he will probably be walked more and other factors that may come into play putting a damper on the chase. Oh yeah, I meant 5 2 homerun games and the rest 1 homrun games but really more like 7 or 8 would make it more likely for him to get to 60 plus. Then 10 or so more 1 or single homerun games.

Soto being younger is the biggest reason why. Him making more shouldnt make Judge feel a type of way when both want to win. If ownership and management believe Soto shouldnt make more than him and use it as a reason to not sign him/attempt to win the bidding war, than the Yankees are forever fucked.
