·Roadtrip in Spain with the Longboard Girls Crew·
In this second episode, the girls take the ferry and head to Mallorca, where they will be spending the next days travelling and skating the rocky island. New friends and local riders join the girls for this stage and some crazy downhill.
[7 female riders, 1 van, 15 days, 4.300km, 416 GB of raw material... culminating in one video, divided into four chapters. The film documents the adventure of the trip, portraying the girls, their lifestyle and their passion for longboard.]

I’m almost 70 years old. About 55 years ago I dismantled two sets of wonky old roller skates and constructed a “long-board” - and tried to navigate some very steep inclines. Prior to that, I’d never seen such a contraption. Needless to say, I still sprout a few classic story-scars. But, never could I have imagined that half a century later I’d be watching a fabulous video like this via something called KZfaq on something called an iPad. Thanks for making an old man smile and giving some hope that in some ways, the world can become a better place to live.

Im 63 years old and I have a bf that's 23 years younger than me and he's a skater and he makes me wanna skate everyday!! I used to skate when I was a teenager, way back in the day when the wheels were roller skate wheels! The when I was wi my first bf it took me on a wild ride with skateboarding in the 70's ... so fun hanging out with him and all his buddys rolling down hills and around town..miss those days...maybe longboading may be my solution :) may be give that a try!!!!! Im inspired!

I longboard every day, as a girl I very rarely see other girls longboarding, but it's nice to see this. I am 13 and just started and everyone is saying I'm a natural and I think I was born to do this, i am so glad this video made you smile. ❤

I got into down hill long boarding a year ago, before I didn’t realize how hard it was to find good hills with low traffic and a smooth surface. I learned to really appreciate and respect those rare spots when I find them

jackie af Agreed, I look like a badass when I ride xD Accept where I live, 80% of the population is elders who hate anyone who skate boards, long boards, pennyboards, etc. You don't even know how many times I get honked at just to scare me so I'd stop riding when I'm not in there way whatsoever. :P

I was so tempted to start riding again since I had soooo much fun in the early 80s doing so. Now at 61 I have a retro street cruiser pedal brake bike I love. I never broke any bones and don't want to now.... so last year I sold my beat up custom made skateboard on CList... got $40 for it. Every time I hear a skateboard coming down the sidewalk, I want to borrow it and take off.

I just got my first board ever 2 days ago. I'm teaching myself how to longboard, practicing for hours at the skate park and through my neighborhood, and tomorrow, the beach! I remember when I went to Spain to a lot of the cities these ladies went to. I would love to go back and try the roads they're on. What blows me away is the bond they have. I always wanted THAT. I wish I could tell them that I'll catch up and ride with them anywhere. Stay beautiful and badass!

Wow you all nailed it great skate long boarding it reminds me of the 1970s going 50 to 60 mph fast and furious down hill at brake neck speed no helmet on no knee pads or elbow pads what the hell was I thinking i am approaching the bottom of the hill at brake neck speed and a bloody bus pulls out from nowhere i just managed to get round that bus and headed straight for a taxi zo i decided rather than hit the taxi and be wiped out i slipped the skate board underneath and jumped that bloody taxi and landed ba k on my skate board no camera on the ready to film and record it but those memories are never forgotten and your video of beautiful women skate boarding long boards bring back all those memories that I couldn't afford a camera in the 1970s but hey those memories never go away any time soon marko thank you all for such a lovely video put together by you all wow fantastically filmed and put together

What I did was dangerous but I did walk down and back up that hill a couple of times to pick every lose stones on that every beautiful lovely smooth tarmac that the 1970s was all about speed agility fast crazy and the thrill of a life time of 1970s memories that are fast and furious to the bottom of that very long steep straight hill down to a roundabout in to a city of cars buses and yes black cabs included ready to jump over and land back on my skateboard marko extreme sports welcome I watch them all even now many years later and still go out to do more I have never really stopped marko

Very very nice. Beautiful venues. I love seeing talented girls (young women sounds so stilted) shredding it regardless of sport. We need more girls and women in adrenaline soaked sports. As I age more and more women disappear from the sporting life and descend into defining shopping as their major “activity”. Bleh. I am a very good skier who has dropped into major knar for several decades. I was fortunate to ski and ride with a posse of extremely talented female skiers and riders in my teens and twenties. I took up whitewater kayaking in my late 30’s to keep my 2 young sons interested in a summer passion. Lots of high end girls and women in their 20’s were running class 4 and 5 rapids in style. In my 40’s I took up downhill mountain biking. I never knew what a cool, extreme sport that was until I went at it full bore. Through all of this I noticed one depressing facet of all these sports. Men keep at. For the pure joy of it. But women virtually disappear from all these sports by their 30’s and certainly are invisible by age 40. It’s too bad.

You don't need alot of money.. save money to buy a good longboard. Go out longboarding and trust me you eventually going to find a new friend to ride with him or her,, and after that save more money buy a plane ticket of the destination of your choice and voilà, you are skating with your friends somewhere in the world ;)

Mi operación de LCA de la rodilla izquierda hace un par de años aún no me permite al 1000% agacharme taaan de cuclillas para agarrar las bajadas tan en cuesta, pero ahí voy recuperando toda la fuerza, flexibilidad y elasticidad de antes en el ligamento reconstruído y en los músculos y articulaciones de la pierna.
