That moment when you read the story and shared the gift from Miss C, I could not help but shed a tear. I was not sure why I continued to watch you, really almost everyday. hi Juan👋, please dont apologize for getting emotional, because im sure most if not all of us also had a tear or two ourselves. you are so loved by many of us and you deserve everything good that goes your way! Mrs C is such a sweetheart, i came across her channel recently. you got some awesome happy mail! the just yarn tweed... i think its the softest of all the just yarns, i have every color; greige, gray, rust, denim, and charcoal (or is it black, idk) i am starting a throw collection with the just tweed, i have a filet crochet one with fringe out of the greige and i get compliments all the time. sorry about the long comment, but this video was really about all the things. dont forget you are loved my friend!!!

Hi Juan! Another male crocheter here!! I tried picking up knitting around the beginning of 2020 but didn’t quite understand it, tried with crochet again just this past December and I persevered to learn. I wanted to be able to make my own sweaters, and now I’m on my way there! It’s a great hobby and a great way for me to break being chronically online as a Gen Z crocheter as well :)

Juan OMG do you know how strong and compassionate you are? You are so special and strong to me for showing your vulnerability on this podcast. YES REAL men cry with joy, sadness, and just because. Please remember there is no need to apologize for being you! I found you through Bag O Day and You and Crystal brought the fire back to me for crocheting. I havent crocheted for about 40 yrs! I am 69 and a sewest (No I dont hem pants!! LOL). I make purses and wallets on industrial machines during the day, and in the evening I crochet. For that I say thank you young man for being there for ALL OF US! Real men do crochet, knit and sew!

I’m excited to see more male knitters and crocheters. I was showing my niece how to knit a few years back. Her brother showed interest, so we gave him the needles and he did a row. My brother in law came in and loudly stated “ no son of mine is going to fxxxing learn to knit”. End of lesson. Definitely put a damper on the holiday. It’s so sad that one person was so judgmental and took joy out of someone else’s wanting to learn a new skill. THANK YOU for setting such a wonderful example. Wow, Juan, that's an amazing video. I cried along with you. Ms. C reminds me of my Grandmother, she taught me how to crochet when I was around 7. She was my life saver when I was growing up. I ran to her house every chance I could. I lost her in 1998 she was 99 years old, I miss her every day. ❤❤❤

I am so glad to hear you call it the $1.25 Tree I buy all my yarn storage from there too. I also buy their novelty yarns. Love your comment about income accessibility in the crafting world. You can make 2 large colorful granny squares with those. I wind them into small skeins put them in a $1.25 project basket with the hooks and share with my art students who want to do fiber arts but it’s cost prohibited for their families. Love the Somebunny I was laughing at the story of him becoming a stocker broker and then balling my eyes out at your reaction. Love that you found Mrs C and went to her channel to support her.
