I am surprised many Ghanaians are pretending they don't understand what the 24hr economy policy means. TOR, VALCO, ALUWORKS, GTP, GHACEM, and many other companies in the Tema Industrial Area run a 24hr shift system, and that's because they have the financial muscles to provide their own security and transportation, etc., and that is exactly what JM promises to make possible for other sectors of the economy, so they can run for 24hrs; what is so difficult about this to understand? Bawumia claimed he worked as a cleaner while schooling abroad, did he do that during the day?

Here how I see the NDC's 24-hour economy in simple terms...so Mahama knows he has just 4 years to leave a mark on the Ghanaian mind and political scene and that is limited. He is therefore trying to maximize time to be able to finish whatever projects he can build in advancing the development of Ghana. It is a brilliant idea because you can see that after seeing NPP not completing the projects he started, he has seen that he can speed things up to get them all done before he leaves office for the last time. It tells me that he has sat down and reflected on his past governance and is ready to do better this time around.

We dont call few working places 24hr economy. All structures must be put in place from security and delibrately help factories to do shifts, employ more construction will do 24hrs. Buses not trotros etc

24 hours economy is the best. I work 12 hours shift in North America , and the night shift also does 12 hours. So the 24 hours can put many youth to work and that is the best
