I'm more worried about the humans using ai rather than the ai itself. We've got ai art, ai music, ai writing, these are all important aspects of human culture being used maliciously and with the potential to improve and cause even more damage down the line. Artists have already lost jobs and had their art stolen by companies using ai and now there's new tech out their to make you sound like celebrities. Sooner or late we'll have ai mass producing more ai

Not scared, i think its pretty cool. Many of u have grown with AI all around us already. Google search, social media algorithms, robots, computer and phone tech, siri, alexa etc. My only issue is the worry that humanity will lose their intellect on cultured topics because they will just hae AI do it for them. Ex, students getting away with written assignments, social interactions and online manipulation, virtual identity being used over real ones, no needed to learn certain skills anymore, but basically have robots and AI do everything. Im sure the people in that time wont see it as a problem because they enjoy a life of less work and learning and it will be normal for them, but when you see how humanity is seemingly becoming like that scene from wall-e it feels like more sad than scary

The team used the AI wrong, they should have asked chat GTP to masquerade as a human in a conversation of 6, given it the rules of elimination and fed it all the responses. Chat GPT is fully capable of that, it would have made references to the conversations just like the humans.

So yea the funny part was that people were expecting all sorts of answers that might be politically incorrect but he answered with the one that should have been obvious "happy". People are laughing at the fact they did not think of that at all and probably went for stereotypes instead.

That tie between AI and Yaj’edae is so weird?? Yaj’edae was consistent with his jokes and conversed with the other contestant while the AI gave the most basic short answers in that round. What is love “It’s exciting but confusing” “Sadnes can feel like a heavy weight in my chest” i blame the humans for not immediately voting for the AI after that tbh

I think the one thing that got the ai was that it wasn't able to react/learn from the rest of the conversation. The humans used references to previous and got more and more specific while the AI stuck to short answers. It's not like the AI couldn't have given longer answers but since it wasn't able to mirror the other participants and therefore was the odd one out. It's honestly baffling that they threw out the dude with the fair jokes before Oliver

The AI was so descriptive on how to win the game but it gradually gave out the most AI answers in history. That's the problem with ChatGPT lol... I tried asking it to respond informally and act like we're having a chat between friends. Even asked it to stop starting sentences in capitals. It wouldnt do it

One thing I noticed was that the AI never builds on their answers. Every answer is fresh, compared to the charismatic Yaj'edae Lewis who mentioned the Fair Day, and others.

The AI can do that, but they would need to change up the code a bit. If they got the source code and put the AI in the chat room it could actually converse with the players, but in this video the AI obvioulsy couldn't see the other players' answers while they could

I think it’s because they asked everything in advance. I don’t think the AI was aware of other people’s answers and that’s why it did so bad.

Yeah, they probably didn’t feed the others answers to the AI so it could adapt to their tone. Kind of a shame really cause I’m sure it could’ve won.

So they voted out 4/6 humans before kicking out the AI but it still counts as the humans winning? Sounds like a win for the AI to me. There should be a minimum number of people in the end. Otherwise the odd one out would lose just by random chance alone. Shouldn't the idea behind The Odd One Out be the majority being better than just random chance? Actually able to sniff out the odd one?

The point is for one or more people to guess the odd one out. That’s it. If they don’t, the odd one out wins the money (personally not understanding how that would’ve applied if the AI won, maybe I missed that at the beginning of the episode). But to be honest, people are absolutely horrible at guessing who the odd one out is. It’s obviously satisfactory the way they already have it

Anyone familiar with chat gpt knows it tends to gradually forgot earlier prompts, that’s why it got so robotic towards the end while the first responses were very well crafted

At first I was really interested to see how the AI would do, but as time goes on I ended up enjoying how the people interacted and the connections they make and I looked forward to their answers more than the AI's. That's the beauty of human life.

I think it would have been more interesting to guess the AI along with the players. You could have had another person standing in for the AI maybe or just not have shown which person wrote which thing.
