I lost my wife the 25th of Feb 2019 and I wish I had her here with me so much! I can't tell how sorry i am for your loss and they say things get easier but i can't see that right now i am not sure if you do. I can say that with time it may but I to miss everything about my wife.

My husband/soulmate passed on February 19, 2016... And still has my heart and mind. I would give it all up, just to feel his touch and look into his eyes again. Having unconditional love with someone. That's what i miss the most. Real love. Only to be with him.

@@patriciacole8773 hI, Patricia, I am familiar with the beliefs of the 7th Day Adventists, I once learned about most all religions, their beliefs and general doctrines (albeit it was an abbreviated self directed overview of them, as I searched to know God's will, what His words meant and how to worship him acceptably (to Him). As you probably know, one could immerse themselves in any religion for years & never learn everything there is to learn about each, but my overviews were usually fairly brief because I'd move on to the next one if I found enough of their doctrines or teaching about God and Jesus to be out of line with what I knew the Bible said. I'm almost 60, I started reading the Bible, seriously, after age 30. I''m on my 3rd read through now, and I only say that to assure you I've read all of it, studiously, & still am doing that & will until I die, I imagine. Every reading of every chapter, the Bible reveals some further bit of understanding to me, connections are made that I'd never made before. Researching some words in the original languages they were written in, to try to more accurately understand what was originally written also connecting how the scriptures themselves include (within them) the meanings & intended interpretations of many other parts of the Bible really magnify the inspired status of the Bible in my eyes. For example; symbols found in Daniel chapter 7, tell us what some of the figures & symbols used in the book of Revelation stand for. So my conclusions about religion today, in relation to figuring out who is following what the actual words written in the Bible say we should be doing to please God ; is that ; most religions are either overstepping their clearly stated boundaries by adding onto what Christians were told to do or not do from the time of Jesus's death and resurrection onward (for various improper reasons such as misunderstanding or misapplying parts of the Bible not knowing what is meant by what is said, context,etc. must be used.to gain clarity.) To say any one who devotes their life to follow Jesus and God today must observe a Sabbath on any specific day is not following the freedom Christians were given, from the old law, (with it's penalties, stonings that were required for adultery etc, , sacrifices of animals required it was so much of a burden for the Israelites before Jesus came that it was very difficult for any to keep it perfectly. In fact, if anyone profaned the Sabbath back then, they were to be stoned to death. If you were still under that law now, if it had not been "blotted out" as Paul says at Colossians 2:13-16) then people would still be being stoned every weekend across America. This freedom from those 613 or so laws does not mean it's a bad idea to take sabbaticals or days off from our toils and self interests to focus more on rest and spiritual matters, this is a truth and beneficial but a religion should not tell you you are still under that requirement from God. John 3:16 says it all,and then several times Jesus stressed 2 things we need to do; love God wholly with our whole selves and love one another as Jesus loved his disciples, and us. If we do those, we will naturally fulfill any laws written in our minds and hearts.

I agree. From their other songs, they are talking about God. It is one of those tricky songs that are not one of my favorites: when they represent a relationship with God as if it's similar to romance when nothing could be farther from the truth. People lie, cheat, disappoint, etc. God never does.
