2 things that really stand out. How good she is. She is very very good. The tone is spot on, her technique is clean and unfussy and her nuance is really on point. The other that stands out, that you can't see when Glenn does this solo for all the hip gyrations and dry ice - is how well constructed and musical and - yes - melodic - it is. You can see the solo for what it is, the clean thinking and precise fingering of a solo that completely compliments the tune underneath. A fantastic demonstration of a fantastic bit of guitar work.

This is a supremely difficult song to emulate. In between the time signatures and the stamina you have to have with the execution of it it is unreal. You could build the death Star on how metal this song is

I didn't expect this young girl to do anything like this. I'm pretty sure it wasn't exactly like priests. She used the whammy differently. Best version I heard. My 10th grade teacher bought me this tape for my birthday in the 1990s.

2:42 The bends there are very hard to achieve perfectly (I never managed to), when u played them they were in perfect harmony with the backing music. Great job! Edit - You are the best person on KZfaq who has covered this song, most others always fall outta tune when it comes to the dive-bombs and bends in the solo and elsewhere in the instrumentals in "Painkiller", however you nailed them perfectly!
