On my 21st birthday it did. Dying in the bathroom of alcohol poisoning, somebody put this record on (knowing that Priest is my favorite band in the world) and I apparently drunkenly recreated the whole video screaming the song. I pissed off some neighbors that night.

That when a child is born into this world and it has no concept of the tone of skin it's living in and 2. That when a child is born into this world Turbo lover should be played while the baby is being delivered just so the kid can catch up and get a head start in life. there should be a section on the birth certificate Name : Surname Parents : Birth Date : Time of Birth Doctor in Charge : Was TURBO LOVER Administered YES / NO LOL

It was supposed to be on the Top Gun soundtrack but the movie studio insisted that the band had to delay the release of their own album in order to not compete with the Top Gun soundtrack. The band refused and none of their songs were used for Top Gun.

Heavy Metal bands sometimes create hard rock songs (as in here, Living After Midnight and Saxon did an AOR album with Destiny) and Hard Rock Bands sometimes create heavy metal songs (much like what Van Halen, Scorpions, Def Leppard have done). After the fast and mighty Defenders, I guess Priest lightened it up a bit and brought in glam metal and state of the art synths to create Turbo as part of their experimentation. They've never released the same album twice.

This song is timeless. I discovered Judas Priest in 2014 while I was 18 and hanging out with bikers. Still love them, it’s one of my favourite bands. So much better than most „modern“ metal bands.

Absolutely. We've had several sessions spending hours on youtube looking up classic hard rock and metal like Motorhead, AC/DC, early Whitesnake, Iron Maiden, Ozzy, etc... And of course... Black Sabbath!!! We've gotten strange looks when we go somewhere and he's wearing his AC/DC 'For Those About To Rock' t-shirt at 14 while I'm wearing an Avenged Sevenfold 'Nightmare' t-shirt at 42.

This song definitely holds a special place for me. My Dad had a VHS of a Judas Priest documentary which among other things happened to have almost all of Turbo Lover on it. I think I was around 9 or 10 at the time when I found it one day and the tape happened to be stopped right at the start of the song. I had trouble remembering names at the time so I'd always refer to it as the "skeleton song." My Dad saw that I really liked the song and turns out he had a lot of records of other rock bands. We ended up listening to those records for a couple hours a few times. Turbo Lover was basically my first introduction into metal/rock music. My Dad is still around and we still discuss music but those are certainly good memories to have over 23 years later.

+Outbound Shane We've got "Another Thing Coming", so at least we have something. Personally, though, I don't like whole Turbo album. It's just so... sweet. It kind of has less power and more sweetness. I mean, compare to Metal Gods or Rapid Fire... maybe Heroes End. Turbo is like Motley Crue: for show(glans and so on) and music is supposed to be light "heavy" metal. Suppose whole bunch of Americans love that kind of music, don't see other reason why it'd get so popular... But hey, it's just my opinion. Hope you won't get angry about it... please? I haven't heard this song in years. I just finally played the game. Watchdogs 2. And the mission. You rip up the town with the car while this song plays. Is legendary!!!! ❤. I love when games bring good music back. This needs to be added to beat saber also. Show the new generation real music.
