@@xEvilRaptorx No, I got to disagree. They aren't very good. Too much stammering, too many claims by "Elaine" that "I can ask that question" as if she is verbally trying to overrule the judge. And the other guy .... objecting to his own question plus multiple misfires in questioning. They are just bad. And don't even get me started on the hours of deposition they played that seemed to validate nothing and burned up their clock. Depp's team on the other hand, managed their time, chose competent experts (unlike Heard's team), objected to everything to burn up the defense's clock time, stuck to direct questions, knew the answers before they asked a question (unlike Heard's team) and generally just had a better handle on the case's facts. And they had a plan of attack. And I'd argue that when the judge denied the dismissal of Heard's counter claim, they really went in with the one two punch. They demolished Heard's testimony with Moss. They demolished her evidence with their forensic expert. They picked holes in so much of the narrative that Heard's team tried to follow but just couldn't. That is the difference between a competent team of lawyers and a team who isn't. A competent team of lawyers will either avoid bad cases or they have a solid plan to salvage the reputation of their client. This team could do neither.

@@superdave8248 some of your message further proves my point as well. Amber is the worst client they could have taken probably. Everytime she tells a story, it changes. If they were defending a truly innocent person, they would be doing great. Its just so hard to make a case for someone when that someone is constantly doing things to screw you guys over. Elaine is having issues with questions because all amber has is "her word". All the evidence and witnesses go against the truth of the matter. I'm sure we can all agree amber is the worst. But don't shit the bed of her lawyers because their client is a PoS. With that said however, I would love to see another case with that team defending someone innocent. I'm sure they could knock it out of the park. Edit added: i have a feeling amber has lied to them about alot of stuff too. So when they make a case around her lies and JDs team shows that it was a lie. They just found out the truth too, now they need to scramble to figure out how to fix that Just like how Amber might have caused JDs mental decline. She is also making the lawyers look stupid too.

When the judge said "Oh Mr. Rottenborn I was almost at lunch", and then slammed down her hands, he should've just stopped. Putting her hands down firmly was the classic "I'm about to lose my mind but have to stay professional". It's entirely coincidental that the defense team is all about "not waisting the courts time", but consistently do just that. Waste the judges and the juries time. If what the lawyers who are in the gallery are saying is true regarding the jury, they're not winning any brownie points by consistently pulling shenanigans like this. Also, Johnny laughs at dark moments. He's an odd soul who has learned to smile in the face of devastation because that's what happens when your life is repeatedly filled with it. It's an unconscious response because the world expects you to just push on "bad stuff happens to everyone so just move on". This entire council for Amber Heard is an absolute joke, starting with her. Not to play the "sob story; look at me" card, but there's a reason why I'm sharing this. I was driving behind my parents and two brothers on our way to Vail, Colorado. The car that they were in (a rental car from Alamo) suddenly started smoking, so they slowed and I put on my hazards (mind you we're going down a steep mountain at 12,000ft ASL on a dirt road that's not frequented). Suddenly, the car exploded and went up in flames. It kept rolling and smashed into the cliff and then rolled numerous times until it smashed into the guardrail upsidedown. I called 911 and threw my phone on the passenger seat (I figured they could ping it) and jumped out. I ran up to the car, which was randomly exploding and searing hot with flames everywhere. I heard a silent call of my name from behind me and saw my little 5 year old brother with an amputated arm and large lacerations everywhere. I ran to him and tore my shirt off, but he died, right there. Right in front of me. Right before I could even try to help. It took what seemed like hours before anyone showed up. I grew cold. Quiet. Silent. I didn't speak for a year, but nobody cared. Everyone left. As I started overcoming what happened, I started noticing that I would laugh at things that weren't actually funny. I would smile in meetings that were serious. My emotions were completely different and irregular from others. It's taken years, but Johnny is a spitting image of this. You laugh in the face of devastation because that's just what the world expects. That's what you have to do because nobody truly cares, and if they do, it's only for a moment. Many people won't understand Johnny, but many will, even those who have GAD, MDD, Panic Disorders, and not severe PTSD. Mental illness is the toughest obstacle one can face, because it's not visible. People can't truly empathize with those who are different, or think different, or process things different. That's why it's so important to embrace who YOU are, and fight for what YOU know to be true. You have a purpose, even if the world says you don't. Sometimes, that purpose is mascaraed for years before you finally realize it. My point here is that you're not weak for being hurt. You're not weak for suffering. You're strong, able, and capable of achieving the impossible, you just have to first find who YOU are so that you can change the world for the better. God (or may the universe) bless everyone.

bruh, I'm a law student and my teachers, who are also lawyers, always tell us how important it is to be on a judge's good side since their job is to basically sit for hours analyzing info that probably bores and tires them to death, a good lawyer has to make it easy and comfortable for the judge or they'll just be more critical with you in their minds, wasting a judge's time or annoying them in any way is literally one of the worst things you can do, although I think judges hold more importance where I live than in the commonwealth zone but I think it's still similar

I wouldn't call it corruption, it's always been an issue in our courts that they are excessively unwavering on judgements so our mistakes stick. Her team has exposed all the lies one by one Depp’s team tried to feed the jury, they are all awesome and I even have gotten a little crush on Ben along the way, he is really nothing like the narcissists of Depp’s team who lie their asses off, he is genuinely a warm hearted man fighting for truth ♥️ To bad the media is only running Depp’s lies to keep the monkeys of their backs, it’s a much different view from watching actual live court.

@@carlala9990 But then you admit to a small crush on Ben, DEPP’S attorney. From the way you wrote this, it sounds as if you’re supporting Amber! Obv, you can support whichever side you agree with. I was just making sure you actually meant what you wrote?!

@@floofypurplefluff9924 Ben Rottenborn is Amber’s lawyer, the other Ben is Depp’s toothless lawyer, I know who is who and I am definitely not defending a narcissistic addict like Depp, you got that right

Wow, AH's legal team is just so disrespectful of the court's time. I wonder if anyone said anything about that to them yet? Oh, who am I kidding, it's probably where they parroted it from, just like they parroted everything they're trying to throw at this.

Dude I swear Judge Penny has to be thinking, "I'm going to have a whole ass bottle of wine when this shit is over!" If we think this is maddening, imagine all the shit she has to put up with in the background too. I love how she looked at Ben like, "dude... this argument is so stupid but I'm the judge so I can't just outright say that. Give me an argument. Please. You are actually fucking reasonable and it will give me a reason to counter"

Whilst I agree, them doing this is actually to Johnnys benefit. The hours will be logged and they're running out their own timer by requesting more time with the judge without a witness on the stand.

When they do stupid stuff like this one can only imagine how they weren’t at least 30 hours behind Depp’s team instead of 10. They have wasting everyone’s time mastered at this point.
