Judge: How much did he tell you it would be? Lady: $800 for the total parts and labor Judge: is that correct? Defendant : No, that’s not correct. Originally, I said it would be $800. I hate when people try and double talk like this. You know what question she is asking. If more changes/charges came up later that’s fine. However, you did tell her $800. So that is in fact correct.

Problem is it might have been originally $800 but as hes working on the vehicle other things are coming up like the transfer case. He probably assumed the transfer case was fine on the vehicle but it needed a new one and that's why it was more.

Oh it’s all about the labor with transmissions. You could find a decent one for under a grand, however the labor is a couple thousand. So $3,000 is what you will be paying. And that’s for a rebuilt or used one.

One of my mother's expressions. I had words with a mechanic who showed up (extremely late, attitude, and no apology) to my house to replace my radiator fan. He thought he'd get over on a female and I made certain to correct his faulty thinking. Every repair since then on my car( from fixing the gear shift to replacing the window regulator and glass in the driver's side), I have done myself. IF I can repair it, I will just repair it on my own....that also includes repairs in my house. There are too many crooks in this world trying to get over on others.

Seems like everyone is way too critical of his appearance. He looks fine. A lot better than those thugs that dress up in a coat and tie, in an attempt to appear to be something they aren't. He is soft spoken, polite and he even thanked JJ at the end of the segment. Masculine men seem to get criticized a lot... Maybe because we are so scarce nowadays?
