Judge President Dunstan Mlambo takes the stand at Judicial Conduct Tribunal

Gauteng Judge President Dunstan Mlambo took the stand at the Judicial Conduct Tribunal on Monday, to defend his complaint against Judge Tshifhiwa Maumela.
Maumela who presided over the Senzo Meyiwa trial earlier, stands accused of failing to deliver a series of judgments within a reasonable time.
Maumela along with Judge Nomonde Mngqibisa-Thusi, have been suspended pending the outcome of the tribunal inquiry.
The Judicial Conduct Tribunal is looking into 38 reserved judgments made by Maumela between 2012 to 2022.
We are now joined by Sinawo Makangela, Legal Analyst and Director at Makangela Mtungani Inc.

Investigate him for what? Is there qny complaint against him that need to be Investigated?or do you have any complaint that you need to be Investigated against him? Contact the NPA lay charges against him if there is any complaint.

Practitioners waiting for judgements had a duty to report the delays to the JSC themselves, but they are afraid of judges. The Gauteng Judicial division, I according to what I know is divided into two sections, each being presided by DJP and Mlambo is the overall president of the division. So the complaint must first go through the Presiding DJP and DJP will then pass it to Mlambo after a considerable pile of Judgement delays and complaints and time. One complaint cannot do it. Thats how I understand. Its not easy to say he is incompetent, the process is long.

It is not Judge Mlambo's to job mirco manage judges they're expected to do their job, this came to light when complaints were laid.

Being sick is not a crime. But delaying judgements impacting members of the society because you are sick is grossly unfair to the those who seek finality on matters. An honest judge would have removed themselves from the bench.

To me this the incompetence on the part of Head of the Judiciary as JP is Head of the Court who is doing work of supervisory function, if he was doing his work properly, he should have picked that long time ago even before the legal representatives bring the matter up them. This shows that the heads of courts are not doing their duties.

Mlambo is very incompleted himself. He was there during the 5 years delay of the judgament. He is now lying n say he will look for the judge and he will not find him. But we will all see him in court presiding on cases. Why did he not go to the court were he was presiding n tell him what he wanted to tell him. Mlambo must also be removed

A lot is happening in this case stru. Judge Dunstin Mlambo please intervene, let us hear about 375 docket because we know it will lead us into a real killers of Senzo Meyiwa.
