Fortunately, everyone there knows what poor Mr. Killewald is dealing with. Even if you haven't seen his (numerous) previous appearances, you can tell by the rapport that he shared with the judge after the defendant was removed. Counsel is doing his very best to toe this line between civility and insanity. He should get his sainthood nomination pretty soon...

@@jlf13766 That is possible. I remember though when he was on ZOOM for one of his many hearings (months ago) he was in a wheelchair and if I am not mistaken he wrote multiple motions claiming he was unable to get the care he needed while in jail. He claimed he was in desperate need to see a neurologist and other specialist’s yet he was never able to provide proof of any of it. At one time he had what looked like a walker. One of those that has a seat on it. My guess is the wheelchair serves several purposes. But thank you for your respectful comment. Mr. Shue's attorney should get combat pay for this gig. I can't imagine how frustrating it would be to work with such a Defendant. Seriously, hats off. Not to mention Judge Simpson. All efforts are being made in Mr. Shue's behalf. Finally, if this is how he treats Law Enforcement and Correction's staff, imagine what he can do to a member of the general public. To be honest, half of Mr. Shue's behaviors suggests a TBI (Traumatic Brain Injury), if not multiple injuries. I would love to see an MRI/CT Scan of this guy's brain pan. I'll bet dollars to donuts that he has legions and scar tissue all over his brain. Not saying this excuses his behavior, but he is demonstrating profound bad judgement, lack of emotional regulation, obsession, etc. I would add that the Differential between a Personality Disorder (PD) and TBI is a tricky one.....especially because many career criminals tend to have both in their histories. I'm an expert on Personality Disorders and given the footage, I'm not confident that Mr. Shue has a PD. Obviously, this is only officially ascertained with a full Clinical Assessment. But at this point, after decades in the field, I can spot a PD at 50-paces. Mr. Shue is ticking some of the boxes for a PD. However, he is ticking a lot more boxes for a TBI...... TBI's that occur during childhood can DRAMATICALLY affect the brain's development. Finally, I suspect that most violent career criminals have CTE, same as the Football players and boxers. I don't know what the Differential is between CTE and TBI, that's entirely a medical issue, though both can have behavior-components. .

How would they have obtained CTE?
@trishie3376
@trishie3376 Жыл бұрын
@@g.jameson3314 CTE or chronic traumatic encephalopathy, is caused by injuries to the brain from rough contact sports, like football and boxing, combat, concussions, and repeated fighting. It causes the deterioration of neuro cells, and the symptoms may not show for years. From what I remember in my studies (I'm trying to get certified in medical coding), the only way to tell definitively that a person has CTE, they have to do an examination postmortem. I know they do MRI, PET scans of the brain to see if there is any damage to the brain that can point to the symptoms of the patient POSSIBLY having CTE, but there is no definitive diagnosis of this condition until after the patient has died. If a person has CTE on their medical record, more than likely it's worded as "suspected CTE". But I've never seen documentation with anyone being definitively diagnosed as having CTE.

Public Defenders deal with people like Mr Shuh all the time. Every day. And they get paid very handsomely for it *listens to ear piece* sorry, I stand corrected, I am just hearing now that they get paid very poorly for it. They are the good guys, and they get to look in the mirror every morning and see a decent person looking back at them.

You're correct; it seems Kilewald gets all the psychos, and even when they abuse him and try to have him removed as counsel, he hangs in there and puts up with a lot more than most public defenders would. I believe the other client you're referring to is Jeffery Bloom. Despite many hours he spent on weekends meeting with Bloom at the jail, Bloom tore him down and lied in front of a judge to get him removed as his attorney, yet Kilewald remained patient and respectful with Bloom and said he would continue representation if the judge denied the defendant's motion to replace him. Both Schuh and Bloom have filed numerous complaints against lawyers and judges in Washtenaw County. In fact, Simpson had no choice but to preside over this preliminary exam himself because Schuh has recusal motions with every other judge in this district.

Amazing the number of people he attacks, despite always insisting he needs to be in a wheelchair....until he wants to beat up women or attack guards. Anyone not familiar with Mr Schuh will soon find out that he will now start his usual routine of threatening to sue any attorney assigned to him, any judge or magistrate who has a Schuh case cross the desk. He says the same of opposing counsel, police officers, police lab workers, and court staff. Then there is the way he treats witnesses. IN particular those who he has court orders saying he must not speak to or approach. Combining his refusal to follow any bond stipulations with his "if it moves I'll sue" mentality, he can take a traffic stop and turn it into a year in jail. Every judge in the county has to recuse themselves from the cases. It's like he heard of Kim Blandino, but drew all the wrong conclusions.

In law school we talked about the "straight faced test", meaning you have to be able to make the argument without laughing. Hard to believe the defense attorney managed to get that argument out, "it was their fault for not wearing enough protective gear..."

honestly tho if the charge is a felony "assault on a LEO causing injury" than the defendant is def entitled to see proof of such injury so i don't see an issue there.. a "hyper extended thumb" sounds suspiciously like they were looking to make the assault a felony .... just my two cents..

Yes Mr. defense attorney. Good job trying to blame the officer and system for the officer's injury. Better job kudos to the Judge for setting the record straight how it was all the prisoner's fault. Evwen more admirable is the Judge keep a straight face through all the requests from the defense. I particularly loved the statement that the defendent has no problem in the general public but does have problems in jail and should be released because he is a menace not to society but to prison guards and administration. Just hilarious.

This defense atty is a public defender. He's tried to get released from this vile guy several times but the court won't let him. He's trying to do his best bc if he doesn't, Shue can appeal on the grounds of ineffective counsel. Shue is the one who is directing him to defend him that way. I feel sorry for the defense atty - he has an impossible job trying to "defend" this guy.

Gimme a break. The defense is saying disregard what the inmate did because if the officer had different gear on, he wouldn't have gotten hurt. The fact is the inmate attacked the guard, period.

🤣🤣🤣 “no, their gonna stay right there bc u don’t know how to act sometimes” was said w such casualness, & could only be delivered so casually by a judge like Judge Simpson. Oh wow! This is absolutely 100% a public defender. & he’s really not doing his client any good, however I have a feeling that ol Jeremy here is an obnoxious sovereign citizen! “A violation of policy” ?!? Is he for real right now?!? I think Judge Simpson summed it up perfectly; “thats your argument?!” Bc that is WEAK AF!!!

18:52 my issue is that the defense is trying to say that he wasn’t hurt that much and the door played more of a part than Jeremy shoe😂😂😂 he argues that the guy should’ve been wearing combat gear, the officer explained why he did not. So this argument is ridiculous and your guys still did try to keep them out and was hurting them intentionally.

This guy got locked up again??? I haven’t watched any court proceedings in a minute. And the fact that CERT was able to regain control of Shuh without causing serious injury knowing his previous history and how he most likely acted during the incident is truly a testament to how well those officers handled the situation even though the officers incurred injuries.

When you don't know if this is a current or past case for this defendant it's time to send him to prison. Jeremy is a life time prisoner & defendant that will as shortly ask for another attorney & it will be denied. Talk about career criminal tying up the court system.

The defendant (jeremy schuh) is a frequent flyer in the court system. He's in about 10 of these types of videos and always thinks he knows more than his attorney. He probably would have been out of jail a long time ago it he didn't get in the way and cause so many delays.

This guy files suit after suit just hoping for something. He's a drain on the resources. I say let him go and let him get turned down (due to his attitude) for service by every provider from the grocery store, and place to live to his diaper delivery until he learns a bit of humility. Right now, prison staff has to jump at his every whim to get something done.
