That's what I was thinking. So many behaviors to analyze. If he's not drunk, then his brain is damaged from his lifetime if heavy drinking. I can only imagine what his liver, pancreas and heart look like. His organs are begging for sobriety.

@@sameppink9401 Depends on the state. The drop out age where I lived was 16. I dropped out right after I turned 17. I dropped out because several of my teachers and administrators teamed up to...how do I say this without being deleted by the YT bot? They decided not to be nice to me all at the same time and I was too scared to ever go back there. We'll see if that passes. Got my GED when I was 18 though.

He STIPULATES to blowing a .221 -- having a more accurate blood test of .19 -- that .08 was the legal limit -- and that he was driving. AND STILL wants to argue about "math" for some reason. This is like having Beavis or Butthead in court.

Because he's using an AI to try and make his arguments for him, and because he's egregiously stupid and doesn't know how to count, he thinks that 0.221 is LESS than 0.22. Because he probably dropped out of school when he was in his early teens.

He loves math but has a fundamental misunderstanding of it. He's under the impression that if there's a numeral in the one-thousandth place, then the entire thing (.221/.190) is smaller than .08 instead of bigger? I don't even understand how he comes to that conclusion? But the judge is correct, its not her job to explain basic decimals to the defendant. If he wants that explained to him, he should talk to an expert. If he truly thinks that .221/.190 is somehow smaller than .08 and believes that that false premise absolves him of guilt, he should go to trial.

Methinks the defendant failed every math class he every allegedly attended. I also have a suspicion that his mentation may be altered by moderate to heavy consumption of recreational pharmaceuticals as well as possibly recent ingestion of ethanol containing beverages. ETA: I like this judge. She is no nonsense and is unquestionably direct and thorough, explaining her decision well.

He was 18 minutes late to court? I wonder what he was doing for those 18 minutes… He couldn’t possibly have spent that time chugging a whole bottle of Jack Daniels, could he? I mean, he’s wearing sunglasses indoors, he’s unable to finish a sentence without just trailing off, and it takes him a really long time to respond to even the simplest questions. My question is: why isn’t his attorney telling him to keep his mouth shut? Dude just rambles on, angering the judge, while his attorney just sits back except to jump in occasionally to try to decipher the dude’s incoherent muttering.

I've lived with alcoholics. He sounds as if he was drinking before court. I'm from Wisconsin. 99% will deny they were drunk. If this was his THIRD OWI, he should get jail time. They have a three strikes and your out law. Meaning you will go to jail for your third offense. But we all know they dont enforce that law.

We used to take our 5th graders on a tour of the county court, meet with a judge and sit in on some court proceedings. The first defendant didn’t know what 10% of of $2,000 was. I said to my students who hated math, see why math is so important! You don’t want to be that ignorant.
