I think I told you before, I live in a tiny town full of Victorian homes. 9 of which are 'painted ladies'. You are so right about the house being only painted 1color. It should've been a minimum of three. My town has many Victorian era homes that have been restored. During the holidays, several of them hold a 'winter walk' where you can tour these houses, buy Victorian style ornaments, eat weird food. I play this world alot. It looks gorgeous in the winter. I go around putting the holiday house lights up on every house and business...lol

Something extra I love with the "Painted Lady" house is the darker frieze details separating the levels, along with the detailed walls and garland decal on the tower... the extra ornamentation really adds something to it that can be missing in a lot of reproductions or knock-offs.

You missed the basement of the Riffins' house! (the last one) Both parents are actually dead (you missed the second urn, on the dresser) and the door to their bedroom is locked. The big brother's bedroom is in the basement.

The family which lives in the last house you reviewed are actually all orphans, the only adult person in this family is childrens' brother, not father 😅 I loved playing this family for the storyline, but I almost immidately moved them to a pretty new house, built by me 😊

This is the second time i say a house is going to be awful and then its not, i cant trust my memories anymore. And to be honest? I remember very fondly the last house: it was hella dark, it was old-fashioned and pretty basic, but the lore of the family fixed it for me (The real lore is that both parents died, the oldest sibling was the one who care of the other two) I think you forgot to show the basement? It wouldnt have helped to raise the note tho. I dont really remember fondly other houses from Apaloosa Plains (Maybe the crazy cat lady and the old couple?) Anyway, i wait eagerly the next city!

Loved this vid hun! I think your sims scatter the hay with a pitchfork, and troughs can be used for feed or water irl but are just for water in the sims! So glad you take the time to give The Sims 3 the appreciation it deserves, I'm usually a sims 3 main, but I have been playing 4 a bit. Your vids always make me want to boot up TS3 again

I’ve actually played in the twitter haven home before. Like you said, I loved the exterior but ended up changing the interior. I kept the floorplan the same, but furnished it differently to suit my sim (she was an older woman who was a southern belle interior designer… think dolly parton if she renovated your bathroom)

It's like you can create anything with create a style and EA chooses to make the worst possible combinations of colours and textures.. I don't get it. But anyway, great video, I really enjoy this series! I don't always agree with you but it's real fun to just judge the houses together (of course I agree with you on the bathrooms though. The colors can be a little tacky but I don't hate it! Also I find it odd only a few houses have the equestrian bar in their yards. Also more countryside houses compared to the last one, which I prefer over then "modern" houses.

😅 EA obviously makes ugly on purpose so that way, you have an objective; to renovate the interiors! My favorite part of the game! Currently playing Sunset Valley, and somehow Jared Frio managed a shotgun wedding with Lisa Bunch, giving her a baby while in the shower stall, had a boy, then they didn't work out, so he lives nextdoor with his first illegitimate daughter from Claire Ursine, who also still prefers to live alone in the blue bungalow beside them as well. Lisa Bunch took over Jared's loft and is currently working on her Architectural design career as a single parent. That Frio house was so ugly, but I painted the walls black and it's awesome now! Also Connor Frio married Agnes and gave her a son. He suddenly became a 4 star celebrity overnight just from that attention. Shw had previously been turned down by Christopher Steel when she proposed. Now she's busy as an Art Appraiser while she enjoys tomb raiding in France for fancy relics to add to her super mansion. That's part of my story so far.

It looks cheap and tacky, but I add a lot of these to my houses and I enjoy them in pre builts. I do know that's my opinion though. Appolosa Plains has to be the prettiest Sims 3 world EA has offered (not counting store content). I love your channel tho, keep up the good work!
