"My girlfriend recently got into gaming and the color pink, so I joked in front of her friends that I should be dating her one friend, who likes this one thing I like but is also younger and less sexually experienced than women my age (I assume). The "telling others about my daughter's period" story is really weird. Like I get it's normal, but that's like hanging out in public and saying "Oh look your armpit sweat is coming out your shirt". Your daughter is in puberty and is already probably self-conscious.

Anyway, it is kinda weird, I still didn't get my period, I went to the New Gynecologist and she did A LOT of tests on me........ As a woman who likes books and has three Pikmin tattoos (with more on the way), it is possible to be into reading and gaming. Based on the post, the friend isn’t putting down OP for not being cool or going out of her way to gatekeep what a “gamer girl” should look like. OP is the one being misogynistic and “not like other girls”ing her friend. Hey Sharon! This is kinda unrealted but I got a Sanitary Napkin Ad while I was watching this video The company's Whisper India and the ad was about educating young girls (as young as 8 yr olds) about menstruation cuz some girls start their periods at that age It's a campaign for keeping young girls in school and also for letting both boys and girls know that it's normal to get periods The ad even had a fun and interactive song about having your period meaning that you are healthy !

The one who only dates younger women is weird because a 20 yo could have more of a sexual history than a 40 yo… I am 44 and a year ago I met this amazing woman, turns out she was 22, wasn’t planned, but we have a lot in common and have been together ever sense and plan on getting married. She has a kid from a previous relationship (the father was abusive), that I care so much about. Her family loved me cause of how well I treat both of them… we are engaged and plan on having kids together. But it was never my intention to get with someone 23 but life is random… if she had been closer to my age I would still be into her as long as she had the same personality… making your attraction to someone to be based on their age range is weird and sounds groomerish, if it happens without planning and naturally fine, but if it is all you are looking for that is weird

Congrats on finding a partner who you love with all your heart! And I agree. The creep factor is the fact this guy wants partners who he assumes are less sexually experienced than him. It has nothing to do with similar interests or shared hobbies. He’s intimidated by women with more experience, and since he assumes women his age have been with lots of partners, he’d rather find someone whose innocence he can take advantage of. It’s so disturbing that he cannot make the connection there.

I feel like that was the case then you could have told them. I get her telling her mom because that's what mine did. But the hole fam I don't get. Because if you were on your period when you go over there. But even then you would probably bring your own period products with you and if you don't then you could tell them other than the products they would only know if you bleed threw on the bed. And its not a garenty that your going to be on it when your there. As someone who has been uncomfortable with my period until high school and just Texans being able to feel comfortable talking about them. I can't imagine. Sorry sis.

Honestly that’s totally valid! At first I did think he was just being a little sus, but I wouldn’t like if someone didn’t take my word for me being on my period and looked for my period products in the trash. That’s what ultimately pushed me to saying a-hole, though I do think there are way bigger a-holes out there (and in this video alone)

The hair one is so bizarre. Like what makes this woman think it's okay to touch someone else's hair especially without their permission. As a white woman I would never even think to go up to anyone and start feeling their hair. I wouldn't even ask if I could because that's just weird. Admire the hair sure. Touch it.
