The daughter Victoria was 8 yrs when her narcissistic father told her mommy's dead. Victoria herself was killed in a car accident 9yrs later at the age of 17, she's buried with her mom.

Ignacio deserves to spend the rest of his life alone. He went through the entire trial with a self-righteous look on his face as if he hadn't contributed to his wife's death. She was so out of his league it was mind boggling, and yet he had an affair with Shawa...such an extremely unattractive(in every sense of the word) psychopath, not to mention all the others. And notice he never shed a single tear over Heather. None of this changed him one bit.

The way Ignacio Garraus told his daughter "Mommy's dead!" tells me this man has very little true empathy. No one with any conscience would blurt that out to their child. To me, he's as culpable as Shawna Nelson. His "gun" was Shawna Nelson. Michelle Moore is a piece of work, too. Her face when she first took the stand is angry, resentful. You can feel that she's a spoiled and was about to put up a "fight" but that didn't happen. She had to face that she was the co-conspirator. At that point she comes on like a sad, poor me act. So Shawna didn't "wanna be in hell." Now she's in heaven: prison.

I would’ve gone with the death penalty, either way, ..due to Nelson’s planning (even poorly)because it just shows how she doesn’t care about anyone. Zero remorse. What makes this tragedy even worse... In 2015, the victim's daughter, Victoria died in a car crash at the age of only 17. So he lost his wife to murder and then their only child to a car crash seven years after this trial.

Also just a hunch here but Shawna's mother and sister were so incredulous just shaking their heads in disbelief that she was found guilty. These people are so disgusting. Ignacio is as awful as Shawna, and his actions put her health and safety in danger more than once. It’s shocking that these people worked in law enforcement, and conducted themselves in this way. I hope this case haunts them to their dying day.

Omg what a tragedy about heathers daughter who also died soo young. After all the tragedy I honestly feel like this is the sentence Ignacio has to pay for not putting his family first. Living in hell everyday with the memory of his death wife and knowing he is also at fault and the memory of his daughter. So tragic and preventable because we can all get divorced before going around fooling around! Terrible 😢

This man’s infidelity caused the death of his wife as well as the loss of children having both mothers. As well as another man loosing his wife. He basically walked away a free man and he probably only feels an inconvenience of being a single parent. No human is an island your sins affect all those around you.

Former deputy Michelle Moore allowed her so called friend, go down this rabbit hole and facilitated the killer's plans up to the execution. She could have stopped it in it's tracks and Ashleigh and her daughter could still be alive today while everyone continues with their lives. One's lack of decision is all it took.

When a person is lying the voice& pitch usually goes a little higher. Truth however is more basal. Like a child when caught eating candy when not suppose to for example when being confronted,a child like behaviour will start to exhibit expressions of such(no I am innocent I didn't do it I don't know etc).

I know right,and I've seen some cases if the offender is a teenager their names are never given or pictures and in some cases they get a whole new identity!America has some fucked up sentences but we don't treat teenagers as children our cases or even broadcasted the whole trial!

This case proves the adage "ignorance is bliss" wrong. If Heather had been made aware of that her husband was cheating on her and had even fathered a child with his mistress, she might have left him and thus saved her life. Also maybe forgiving a cheating spouse isn't always the right thing. This woman felt untouchable - her husband forgave her and she figured the police would look the way too.

I hope that the husband pick up the prices and don't get married again if he can't live with the viles of being married.Look at his body language in the court room. The child that the man is taking care of he is a great man to take care of another man child alone with out both parents and one parent is not ever going to get out of prison.
