I was a mere boy when my folks first let me watch Parkinson , & I shall treasure the memory . Because Parkinson interviewed people with style , intelligence and wit . It was an age when people who were famous , were famous for being skilled in a craft ,& not the crop of zelebrities we now find out screens filled with . A new breed of vacuous reality manikins . Who do and say anything to gain some notoriety . I was crewing the baftas a number of years ago , & Judy Dench was awarded , I think. Life time achievement. She was gracious , humble and polite . I honestly believe we have lost the ability to appreciate people who have worked hard to get where they are . If something requires a moments thought , we switch off . We don't read books , instead focusing out nano seconds of intelligence on a Facebook update . It's insta everything , insta gratification . And for that reason we will never see such long standing stars who are allowed to develop their skills , as we will never see the likes of Parkinson again . And that's very sad indeed .

Our fan club goes to see her live in london and she spends time with each girl or guy indivually after doing two live shows at her age and she has to be exhausted. But she never says no to photos and autographs. what a lovely entertainer she is.

i love this her top opens and she keeps performing the trooper she is. Judi starting singing caberet at a young 20 something if you never knew she was a singer and she sings like a cabaret or a club singer she is known for her low singing voice and speech. We love her. A member of her fan club. Billy Connolly said she is so wonderful and he loves her.

He was a smashing TV chat show host he was nice to everyone. And I'm not to fond of Connely when him and his wife where nasty about him a few year ago when parkinson remarked that he thought Connely wasn't his usual self ,Connely forgot parkinsonism was always having him on his show when Billy first started out ,but I guess when your now a rich lovie you can say what you want . R.I.P. Mr Parkinson the last of the good one's not many of them left you will be missed lovely man😢

Billy and Judi both national treasures as far as I am concerned.. Parky too. I heard Daniel Craig has a soft spot for Judi too when they filmed the Bond movies.. I wondered if Billy or indeed Judi ever had attended drama / acting training?

She became a Dame just like all the other British ladies Maggie Smith Liz Taylor many of them it is a title given to the English by the Queen. Most of the women become that in England not because of playing a Queen. She has always sang like a caberet singer with a throaty voice since the age of around 21. Most people do not know that she is a theater singer even to this age she performs on stage and it is packed to a full house.She is a cabaret singer not a opera or classic singer .

Mrs Brown is one of my favorite movies she and Connolly were excellent!

She can be quite gorgeous at times when she is out in the theater with all her make up and hair done . she does not believe in facelifts she said she wants to grow out with grace, if i even look like that at her age.
