Why Judith Polgar resigned is because her only move was Rf8, Black's next move is Kg6, then she has no other move but Rg8 check and white's move is Kf7 forcing Black's rook to move some other squares. Black's next move is Knf6 discovered check and black loses her rook next move and mate is inevitable.

Why Polgar tesign? The only move of white is Rf8 and followed by black move Kg6; Rg8+, Rf7 and white in mat position in on move more

I I don't know notation but White's next move is Rf8. Black's next move is Kg6. After that, any variation of moves sees Black's Knight make it to f6 with a check and take White's rook. However, it wouldn't be the first time I'm wrong about something.

@Ianfleishhacher615412 The only white move is Rf8,except this move white is loose by black move to Ktf6+. After that black reply move Kg6 and then white must move Rg8+ reply by black Kf7 and white in a condition mate position after his future move. 1 . If Rock move in g line black repy ktf6+ mat 2. If Kh7 also black move ktf6+ and the white rock piece will lost and white loose.

le dió mate en 4 jugadas si Polgar mueve su torre a f8, Rg6 , tg8, Rf7, donde sea que mueva su torre las blancas, las negras hacen Cf6+, Tg8, TxTg8++, esto en la variable más larga, en la más corta si mueve a cualquier parte su torre las blancas las negras responden con Cf6+ con torre, tg8 y txtg8++

نوعا ما غامضة...ولكن باضطرار الابيض لجعل الرخ في الخط الثامن سيناور الاسود لجلب ملكه الىf7 ثم يضطر الابيض لتحريك ملكه الىh7 عندها يلعب الابيض النقلة الفائزة +Nf6 ويكسب رخ الابيض او المات!

Não sou jogador de xadrez, só sei mexer as peças, mas também entendi que estava empate, que as peças como estão é empate certo. Não há vitória para Kasparov, mas empate. Realmente, inaceitável para uma jogadora do nível dela não ter percebido.

After Judit Rf8, Garry move King g6, .... And then if Judit back Rg8, Garry King to f7,,.... After that the Rook Judit go evert where is only one move for Garry Knight and Checkmate.... Indeed😂
