The original scream queen! Always loved her performance. And I absolutely adore her accent.

She is such a doll. She lives near me. It's been a pleasure knowing her.

Such a treasure, took a friend to the 50th anniversary screening, he had never seen the film, I watched his face at the end and he had such a look of disbelief and shock that none of the characters survived, I'll never forget! I imagine that's how audiences reacted in the 60s

I met her, and she was a most wonderful cool lady! And she is a lovely person- so sweet and suave, and she cared enough to remember my name....It was a wonderful day when I met her!!! Yay!!!

The scene of Barbara with the music box is still one of the most adorable scenes for me. Thank you, Judith.

For the reasons that Judith "Barbara" cited, I too think that that film, "night of the living dead", made in 1967, was orders of magnitude better than all of the subsequent "zombie" movies, or any horror movies made before, or after. That original film by George A. Romero was done in such a way that audiences were transported to that place, with those people. I got a real sense of the absolute terror being experienced by those poor people trapped in that farmhouse.

She’s aged so beautifully!

I believe the character is Barbra, not Barbara.

She is my favorite horror movie actress and I treasure my autographed photos of her. She fit the part so naturally. My favorite part of the movie was in the beginning when it was just her and Duane Jones. They were the lead actors in the movie.

Wow! For a lady in her 70s, she's still very attractive. I still love you, Judith O'Dea! You played the role perfectly. The movie, before my time, I must of seen it 3000 times. And always will. Sad Duane Jones passed so young. 51? RIP:

i loved her in NOTLD!! lots of people can’t stand the original barbra but i loved her because in that film her acting his genuine and relatable and really puts the viewer into her shoes and what she is experiencing! i also respect o’dea in how she seems very knowledgeable when it comes to film and how effective and jarringly shocking it was to see such a frightening macabre masterpiece in 1968 where no one makes it out. i also appreciated how she handled the remake in the sense that she was indicating that remakes can never capture what was present in the original that made it so special.

What a wonderful lady and actress she is. Still in my opinion one of top 5 most terrifying movies ever made.

I didn't know she used that mid -Atlantic accent. Must've been trained in it in her younger days, although even by the time she made NOTLD in '68, actors were starting to be more encouraged to use their natural accents.
