I lost my mother Ruth, on 29th February 2016 (leap year) She was ninety one.. and wonderful too.. They taught us so much and we miss them so. And, due to the current "Royalty" laws, in the US (not Europe or North Korea for example) that I consider demented, sinful, evil, when an artist performs a song, written by another. The Writer, gets ALL the proceeds, NOT the performer. If Judy Collins received her True Due, that would be about $16M, min. If I had one wish, I would wish that Collins received it in Gold, delivered to her Apt, to avoid taxes!! Your support in purchasing media, as direct to the Artist (their web site) as possible, it makes a difference. Other than that, Live performances are the Only real, actual realized Revenue, directly to the Artist. Sorry, for the Windy message. Judy Collins is the Best Female Vocalist, ever!!
