I've had some bad tenants before. Traumatized from them till this day. Not going to lie, had some nice and fair people who you can trust. But also had people who literally acted like they own the house themselves and started to nearly place in their whole rules. I'll be honest: Tenant rights is a good thing but at the same time some tenants need to a punch to the jaw.

I’ve been renting the house our family lives in for twelve years, the landlord has dropped the rent three or four times. We’re so grateful to them for their kindness. I really can’t understand why these two ungrateful stupid people would be so disrespectful of them.

If only fewer tenants were like these aholes. The nicer the landlord is the higher the entitlement level of the tenant goes. It doesn't pay to be nice/reasonable with tenants from my experience. I was called a "slumlord" because A (one) yellowjacket got into the newly remodeled, freshly painted with all new everything unit.

Wow, just wow. These are really good landlords. Offering to reduce their rent and give them a job? I wish I had that option. Just deal with losing the tree. It provides shade? Well maybe take that 400 dollars a month you're saving and go buy a canopy or something. They threw away a great situation, for a tree, that you didn't save at all. Hope it was worth it.

With so many crappy landlords out there, some of which have often appeared on this show, these two landlords should be applauded. They seem to be exactly what you would want in a renting situation. Gave a discount, plenty of notice, and offered to hire the guy to do some work. Maybe it wasn't a great deal for him, but the offer was made. But what are these two tenants even thinking? Did their feelings get hurt? Good God, this world needs an enema!

At one point, we had two rentals. In one, we had good tenants. In the other, we had, horrible entitled, nightmare idiots like the plaintiffs. After their lease was up, we gave them a 30 day notice. They refused to leave. Took us 3 months to legally evict them. They didn’t pay any rent during that time. We were so happy to get rid of them that we didn’t sue them for the extensive property damage and lost rent. Just wanted them out.
