@@barbarareynolds329I believe you can be kind AND honest. It’s not kind to yourself to walk away with something you don’t like. It’s okay not to like something. The artist won’t get better without criticism. For example you could say ‘I really love the color, but I would also love if you made the lines a little thinner please!’. Kindness and honesty aren’t mutually exclusive :)

I did this in high school. I had a line of girls wanting me to put eyes on their eyelids. I only had the same exact shade of blue as this video, so even the Black girls got them some baby blues 😂

I'm so sorry you went through all of that. Honestly, that woman needs to sell her entire kit, because she should NOT be a makeup artist. At all. Ever. Also, when did the industry decide to completely change a person's complexion as a "look?" No! You're supposed to even out the complexion, not completely change it. Orange-yellow is not the right foundation for anyone. Nobody on earth has orange skin.
