I am a bit late to viewing this video.., but nice fabrication work, and genius design(s)…, sure can make quick work of recovery and reblending fines.. Great video. Thank you sir.

Hello sir,good night,after very long time I saw your video and to be glad by your technique, I remember that you had answered my question also at that time,heartily thanks again.

I've never seen anyone do this with their rear blade. What you effectively did was turn it into a road-grader. I am impressed by your ingenuity. Great 👍

Thanks for The compliments! 😉 I did that bogie for other purposes and thought If I could use that same bogie for other purposes too ✌️🙃. So fixed IT with trailer ball hitches to The rear blade too 😆

That worked amazingly well. Much better than I thought it would. I would like to make something like this now, but with some kind of roller to pack the gravel down after moving it towards the center of the road.
@JuhaErkkila Жыл бұрын
Thanks. Roller would be a good idea. You could get same kind of support from there!

I agree with the other comments,find someone to walk down the road and throw big rocks off road. And maybe shovel to open berm left on side of road. I loved your set up!
@JuhaErkkila2 жыл бұрын
Rocks are pain in the ass i agree... You need to hop out of the cabin to pick and throw them away occasionally. Certain places in the road are infested with them and some places are easier... Two fists sizes and bigger rocks you have to pick away not to get cars damaged. BUT Im doing this free of charge and there are not that many volunteers to join the party so Im not gonna spend endless amount of hours to make perfect surface for all the others using this road 😉😉😉

The impression is, that it would still work without those 4 rear wheels stabilization attachment, and that the stabilization provides too little of a difference, to even bother with. Do I love what he accomplishes here, Yes!!!
@JuhaErkkila2 жыл бұрын
Actually it makes quite a big difference when the blade is supported by wheels from both sides. Just like in road graders(poor mans version of it) and key is also to get as much as distance between axles. This kind of tandem axle is not needed but it was already existing for other purposes so I decided to use same unit for this rear blade too.

You done one thing among others right. Scrape the road when it's wet that way you don't loose all your fines in the gravel. 100%
@JuhaErkkila Жыл бұрын
Thanks from your feedback! It is also kind of "have to" to do when wet because this blade would do nothing when dried out. ;) - But that is a different story.
@lowercherty4 жыл бұрын
That is a very effective setup. My only thought is imagine if that rear link was a hydraulic cylinder.... I hate spring. Dirty, brown, and muddy. It takes a long time for 1 to 2 meters of frozen ground to melt. Until it does, nothing dries up. Then along comes 3 cm of snow just as the roads are drying up and you start the whole process over again.
@JuhaErkkila4 жыл бұрын
If I could put a cylinder into that setup I would make the blade angle adjustable. Depth You can vary with already with hitch control against those support wheels 🙂

Hyvä tuo telipatentti tuohon takalanaan! Valmis pinta on kyllä hyvännäkoistä .
