Ha.. Found it.. searched every page using 'juggling' as the search for this video, somehow remembered the 'best bits' in the title after a while, and I am here. 5 Years ago I first saw this.. Epic video dude, stuck with me all that time and will forever I think. Great stuff

The 7-ball triplex trick is astounding. I've never seen that done before. Also, the filming for the Flat/doubles club trick is really hypnotic. Great video.

I have been amazed by this video for atleast two years now and just now made an account so that i could finally say well done sir

Glad you liked it. I developed an AI algorithm at uni for learning to balance a double inverted pendulum. This is a common engineering control problem. I also made a 2D game to see how long you can balance it. Giving the top pendulum low mass and high damping makes it a lot easier and so I decided to try it for real using a club and a feather. Paul Cinquevalli was allegedly able to maintain a double balance using 2 identical pendulums!

Superb video Pete - lovely variety of stuff - especially like the 7 ball multiplex to cascade transition.
@briankoenig18 жыл бұрын
Awesome Peter! Really liked the mill's mess variation, and the clib stuff!
@bonzialsatian17 жыл бұрын
Great selection there - I particularly like the unusual view from under the hands.
@Vertig0812 жыл бұрын
I love the (6x,4)(8x,6)* and the 756 especially since you don't do it with outside throws like most people. 6 balls is so underrepresented!
@peterbone18 жыл бұрын
yes Anthony's 8 club qualify is amazing. Your progress is way ahead of mine when I'd been juggling for the same amount of time as you.
@Yomay17 жыл бұрын
To explain something to you: All the stuff that Dietz does, is stuff Gatto can do. Dietz can only flash 9 rings, Gatto has it almost solid. Gatto also pwns Dietz in clubs - and balls - and rings.

Thanks. That's my favourite trick too. Did you notice that I pass one ball round my body while the others are in the air. The music is My Elastic Eye by the Chemical Brothers.

Very nice, I especially liked the footage of the 4 club flats from underneath.

Thanks. The 6 ball synch to shower is actually one of the easiest tricks in the video but I suppose it does look good. I can now go from shower back into fountain. The last ball trick is by far the most difficult. Go look at Anthony Gatto's videos to see the best ball juggler.

I didn't link to this from my site. There's just a big juggling community on here and I linked to it from a juggling forum. Nice nostalgic editing on the England video.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
Thanks. The music is 'my elastic eye' by the chemical brothers. I don't have time to work on too many different props. Also, I just don't find rings as satisfying to juggle as clubs or balls. There's a good chance I'll be at the BJC.
@alfster4815 жыл бұрын
wow absolutely amazing vid great work i can tell u put a lot of time into this vid and juggling awesome!
@Yomay18 жыл бұрын
Thomas Dietz is also really good; he ran 7 balls for just 20 seconds away from Anthony's record(at least he said so), and he does some crazy siteswaps and other stuff, such as 9 ball pirouettes - as far as I know. But Anthony is still number one... You, Anthony and Thomas are probably the top three.

Don't give up. I've been juggling for 15 years. I'm 27.
@peterbone18 жыл бұрын
thanks guitar... It was 11 balls and the music is 'my elastic eye' by the Chemical Brothers.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
Yes, those were the 2 people I was talking about - although Thomas tells me that the 192 catches was a freak run and he's never got close to that again.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
There are no 'prope' balls for head bouncing but the ones I was using in that video were small rythmic gymnastic balls. I now use 5 inch playground balls (dodge balls).
@kurtilein317 жыл бұрын
today im juggling for exactly one month... my goals for next month are mills mess and 4-ball fountain. im 23. and its okay if you start late... i know jugglers at the age of 55 that still improve their skill, there seems to be no real age limit. if you start with 35 you will still reach 5-ball cascade if you dont give up. try out henry's clubs and bean bags... they are good for long practices and last for decades.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
I've flashed 13 also, but I think a lot of people would argue that being able to flash the most number of balls doesn't make me the best ball juggler. Flashing high numbers is a very small subset of ball juggling and doesn't require much consistency. Anthony Gatto and Thomas Dietz are both better ball jugglers than me for a start.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
Yes, I don't know what you mean by column throws though. The 6's are thrown on the outside but that's the easiest way of doing 561. I do this trick on double single spins in the synergy video.

I've been juggling for 15 years, but you can probably get to this level in much less time if you practised every day. Yes, you have to be quite fit. The clubs in particular require strength for the higher numbers.
@BruceBoppoTiemann14 жыл бұрын
I don't think it's so much a lack of fear regarding difficulty as it is a lack of awareness regarding difficulty. Ah well, we all have our blind spots. :)
@WILLlabbett17 жыл бұрын
My favourite is the bit at about 3:06 - with the two 3 multiplex throws and 1 behind the back (something like that) into 7 cascade. Bet not many human beings have ever done that!
@juggledave15 жыл бұрын
funny that it was one of two videos that got me seriously into juggling :)
@peterbone15 жыл бұрын
I'm now using bag lady beanbags. I use the ultra-leather up to 7 and ultra-suede up to 11.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
The balls I used most in that video were Burrage bags filled with millet. They're made by Luke Burrage. To be honest I don't like them and only used them that time because they showed up well against the wall. The beanbags I normally use are Barnsey bags made by Dave Barnes - but he doesn't make them any more. You can find instructions on how to make them on jugglingdb.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
Delphins are good and quite cheap. They're slightly heavier than px3's. They're good for numbers. They last a long time as long as you wrap the end in tape.

@LightweightJackal Thanks. Almost 20 years.

Amazing!!! Those 6 & 7 ball siteswaps, wow! First time I 've seen a 7 ball splitt trick too. Could You make a video of a 6ball splitt? Never seen that either.

Yes, the club will be running again from October sometime hopefully. Not sure who you are but I guess you were at the club last year.
@tommyschools13 жыл бұрын
@peterbone yeah that makes it evan more awsome and you can juggle 7 clubs and 11 balls! your the best!
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
If you're just starting then one piece clubs are fine and they're a lot cheaper. Multi-piece are better for more advanced stuff because they don't hurt your hands as much and they're weighted better.
@johnnastepny930917 жыл бұрын
Hey, peter, have you ever come to a juggling convention in Spain, and if not, do you have plans to do it in the future? I would be so great to see you live!

I thoroughly enjoyed this video. six ball fountain into shower looks really cool and i appreciate the juggling of items against surfaces that i can see the props against. (except for the dark ball flash of i couldn't tell how many balls.) What music is playing? it's good stuff as well.
@Triathlonjuggler15 жыл бұрын
that's some crazy stuff!
@juggleboy36018 жыл бұрын
sweet video, peter! I don't know how you keep some of those siteswaps going...
@peterbone14 жыл бұрын
@KursedSasuke13 That's something I invented. It doesn't have a name. You could describe it has a synch stacked triplex from each hand then a 11 around the body with the other ball and straight back into cascade. I don't know if anyone else has done it and so this is probably the maximum number. The 9 ball version would be almost impossible.
@Yomay17 жыл бұрын
Let's see... Gatto does 966 for LONG runs, b6666 in overheads, 7 up in half shower, 7 up 2 stage, 8 ball overheads, and qualifying 7 ball backxx as well as sick 360 combos with all numbers(5-8, maybe 9 too).
@peterbone18 жыл бұрын
I've been juggling for about 10 years. I jumped from 5 to 7 and then learnt 6 later because I prefer odd numbers. I would advise you to at least try to learn 6 first. You can probably use the same tricks you used with 4 to go from 6 to 7.
@Paulo150017 жыл бұрын
I think it's ([6x64],2)(6,[22])* it looks awesome and nice transition into long run of cascade.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
Wide bodies are good for 3 club stuff and passing. they're heavier though so no good for numbers.
@hamajuggle16 жыл бұрын
Haha! At 2:47 you're going 'hop' -or something like that- when you're doing that multiplex.
@juggledave17 жыл бұрын
peter if u cant get a 13 ball flash on cam can u show as a close attempt? like over 10 catches
@peterbone18 жыл бұрын
I've uploaded a new video with a short run of 6 balls mills mess. I can run 7 ball shower a bit but I don't like to work on shower much because it's not symetrical.
@1xKudi17 жыл бұрын
Yeah! I think that needs a lot of practis! Amazing! 5/5 stars :D
@thegiantsl0th17 жыл бұрын
alright, thanks for the advice!

this may sound like a bit of a strange request, but could you post another big/best bits video. because i would like to see how much better you've got in the past year compared to other people

@peterbone15 жыл бұрын
Thanks. A few hours a week on average for about 15 years.

He was in the ball endurance. He got second place I think, juggling 9 balls for 18 catches.
@MCS12Methodic16 жыл бұрын
how do they fit so many in their hands!!?
@juggledave17 жыл бұрын
yer i know but i ment how hew said u could just flash 13 sounderd simple
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
I don't have time really. I haven't improved much at all. Maybe a bit with 3 and 4 club stuff.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
delphins are made by henry's not beard. If they're beard then they're probably circus specials, which do break very easily. Do they have wrapped handles or solid?
@Simoopsiko17 жыл бұрын
Thats awesome Compliments
@Yomay16 жыл бұрын
Possible. But I think it's mostly because it's so boring to work on high numbers - I rarely bother doing 9 because it's so hard to get a good run, and even then it's really short.
@peterbone16 жыл бұрын
I don't do 10 any more but I did 15 catches several years ago.
@Yomay18 жыл бұрын
When you mention it, that's true. To me, he looks like he's about 17-18.
@mavidbabae17 жыл бұрын
very cool juggling indeed, have u ever tried the diabolo?
@mc170318 жыл бұрын
can you do 6 ball mills mess? and how is your 7 ball shower?
@peterbone15 жыл бұрын
Yes, I prefer Delphins. They're strong and light and not expensive.
@Yomay17 жыл бұрын
Throw the 6x's higher than you think they should go. you'll figure it out after a while.
@juggledave17 жыл бұрын
ooooo ok when u get it plz post also u use delphins right... have u used px3s coz mine are breaking and i cant afford to replace them so wot are urs like ...(also that last trick with balls was insane)

A little bit late, but really great juggling! I love it ;-) 5* + fav. Greetz
@demolitionman816 жыл бұрын
Nice job again, and what other songs do the Chemical Brothers do?
@Yomay17 жыл бұрын
Thomas did it for 31 seconds, 190 catches, or very close to about that... You would probably know anthony did 54 seconds, right? Or maybe a minute, I think he broke his record recently.

@johnnastepny930916 жыл бұрын
yeah, that's right, but if I were going to be remembered as the "best high numbers juggler ever" because I have done what no other is capable to do (maybe Ben Beever?), I think I would consider not to gipe up (yet, at least). Of course, I still understand his decision.
@peterbone17 жыл бұрын
I've filmed a close attempt but I won't show it. I only show succesful attempts.
@Yomay17 жыл бұрын
It's 11 balls. He has nearly qualified it and may do so at some point. I am sure he could qualify 10 balls if he wanted to.
