⚠️ SPOILERS ⚠️ There was also the Donnie Darko part: Reggie referred to Jughead as Donnie Darko and in another scene, Archie mentioned about Veronica's favorite DONNIE DARKO song. Not like there aren't any other singers there.. In season 4: Veronica uses a lighter to escape from the dangerous serial killer and in that same season, Jughead somehow gets a lighter into the coffin with him and (tries to) uses that to help him around. Both of them have daddy issues: Besides their status, both of their dads have committed crimes and they have to cling on to their dads to live on. Both of them date each other's best friend: Jughead dates Betty and Veronica dates Archie. They deserve to get revenge: Both Archie and Betty cheated on them and kissed and even slept together. Betty's crush was Archie: Even though it was a crush, there was mentioning that Archie had asked to marry Betty (when they were kids) and that Betty had asked him to ask again when they were older since they were too young. Kevin shipped Barchie all the way and thinks it's endgame. Both Veronica and Jughead locked their eyes when they first met at Pop's as a core four. They introduced themselves to each other
