When we are talking about the top 0.5% of male and female athletes (NCAA) the gap widens even more. So yes, they have a tiny amount of testosterone in their system, not zero, but a very miniscule amount.

Dont mind Dave "the disrespectful plug" Baker... It is so rare for an athlete to break a bone that penetrates the skin that far. And even more rare in female sports. That woman has a massive heart and the courage of warrior! Non shooting hand. WNBA will still draft her

What really sucks is that Dorka Juhasz is the one player for UConn that always leans/hips/pushes her opponent on defense. In other words, makes them work hard. She is not a star, but her physicality is sorely needed against the last 3 teams.

I fell at work years ago and landed the same way, same injury. Pretty painful, but the shock of seeing my hand about two inches from where it should have been was far worse.

She is a recent transfer from Ohio State. She works so hard this year. When I was looking at this it kind of broke my heart. I remember when I got a torn ligament in Football but I came back so she can look to Paige and others for encouragement. She will be an inspiration rooting for her team. She like to be close to the basket for the rebounds fighting for the rebound

Yikes, this was hard to watch, but thank you for showing it. I was concerned about what the extent of her injury was. Hopefully she recovers fast and fully! Is there a chance she could come back and play another year of college b/c of COVID? Would she be able to red shirt while she heals and then come back? Or will she still declare for the 2022 draft? I’m curious!

ESPN had the audio way up under the basket. Dorkha’s cries of pain were so hard to bear. Evina really kept her cool and got the trainer over real quickly. Then as she returned to the sideline you could see how distraught Evina was. Nice moment on camera later- Amari with her arm draped over Dorkha’s shoulder after she returned from the locker room.

@@written12 yeah her cries broke my heart and seeing the team so emotional. I know the pain was tough but they probably knew the bigger picture like how she’s done for the season, she’s a senior, her family isn’t even in the country to be there for her, she worked hard as hell just to be done at the elite eight. Can’t believe UConn had two broken bones this season.

It was hard to see this and I felt hurt as every one there did. I enjoy a good game but I never want anyone to get hurt. EVER, NBA, WNBA or college level. Play your hearts out but when I see a player go down it is not only frightening for the us as spectators because you don't know, I'm sure it's even more frightening for the team to see but for Dorka it had to be extremely painful and horrifying. I hope she recovers well and can continue her WNBA career.

The trainer was not in a rush to get out there. I don't expect a full sprint, but maybe a light jog or even a brisk walk. He was acting like he was taking a leisurely stroll with his sweetie through the park.

This almost reminds me of the gruesome Paul George injury that he suffered back in 2014 when he was with Team USA. Only this time it happened to the wrist. Poor Dorka get well soon 😢💔

Always tuck in your valuables. Ouch ouch ouch. Out of all injuries, wrists can be fixed pretty quick. Definitely sucks to see and hard to get back into playing but good to know that a wrist isn’t too too bad in the long run.

basketball programs should really push a "fall" training for players. it's generally better to curl up and fall on ur body than on ur hands. it's human instinct to stick ur hands out when u fall down which is very dangerous

forewarning to all physical contact/aggressive sport athletes: dont try and catch yourself and learn how to fall! - from sum1 who ruptured acl and both sides of meniscus and broke my finger. Prayers up for this girl🙏🏼🙏🏼

At the 1:02 mark is the white bone sticking out of the skin? Looks like her wrist bent at a crazy angle when she hit the floor. Dorka is 6 ft 5 inches tall and comes from Hungary and has cover-model beauty.

I don't watch women's basketball but if you see men's basketball you notice that most of the time when they fall backwards, they don't use their arms to break the fall. This is the reason why

At first I thought she hurt her head, or back because she got caught some serious air on that fall. Then later my boss showed me the slo-mo. That freaked me out. It was one step away from a Joe Theisman.

This is a disgrace. If it had been a men's team they would have had emt's brace the arm and brought a stretcher for her. That kind of injury makes the body go into shock Disgusting the way the manager or owner Judy casually walked over to her. Such disrespect for female athletes.

Taught early as a gymnast to never put arms behind you when falling backward. This is why. Her elbow locked and all the force sheared down her forearm causing a complete dislocation. Very neurologically and vascularly dangerous to her hand.

God Bless her and speedy healing...but man I knew what was going to happen as she was going down...and i thought it was actually going to be worse! First thing ya learn is NEVER reach back to catch yourself falling with your arms, its' TUCK your Chin and butt first and roll into it...if ya can't ya just take it on the back or side....never reach back or put your elbows back OOF. Hopefully is just a dislocation.
