He basically listens to the beat and mumbles to create some type of melody that sounds good on the beat, then he fills it in with words on the spot.. that’s why most ppl say he freestyles every song. He has freestyleed a few songs from top to bottom in one take but most are done by punching in and out using the process I mentioned A bunch of juice’s studio sessions are on KZfaq and you can listen to exactly how he makes songs, some are long (40-60 mins) and some are 5-15mins.. it’s beautiful seeing how his mind worked and how he created some of his best/deepest songs

Yeah, I hope he watches/reacts to some of them so he can get a better understanding of this process. Its really awesome to listen to a full song and then go to the studio session to see how the melodies and lyrics were created. Shows how much of a natural talent he really had. 'Empty' is quite a good example and I think it would be cool if he reacted to it on the channel. I recommend listening to the full song and then listening to the studio session in the same reaction. 26 minutes in the studio and he made a song listened to and enjoyed by hundreds of millions of people. True talent. Rockstar in his prime is another good one, and its a lot shorter. (theres lots of them, you can look around to see if theres any songs you might recognise).

His punch ins aren’t that common he uses them mostly for flow purposes like u said he has sessions of straight freestyle on SoundCloud they’re crazy

And juice himself said after lucid dreams he never physically wrote anything on paper , yes he may have had ideas in his head going into the booth but there are leaked studio sessions of him in the studio he just went in played the beat and punched in , you can find videos of his recording process

Search up Juice WRLD - Empty (Studio Session), You can hear how he makes a song. He thinks of ideas of what it will be, then comes up with the whole song during the session. There are other studio sessions you can search up if you want.

everyone please respect this man!!! he's a great soul and we know he's trying his best to understand all this with juice and recording. Tbh even though I'm not very old (21), I am still baffled by juice's talent. Everyone has their own definitions so don't bitch about someone else's because it doesn't align with yours. We can all agree on the important things, like juice was a fucking legend and he made some of the best music in history. LLJ and love to everyone:)

This one definitely grows heavy. It’s really poetic and gets stuck in your head easily. His voice and quality of hooks and verses make it a solid release. Honestly he basically did freestyle everything but he did it in a way that he was essentially writing a song aloud from what he felt at the moment. A lotta his fans fiercely defend that he free-styled every song he ever made but i understand what you’re saying. To me it doesnt matter if he wrote or freestyled it he’s still one of the greats in my opinion.

I am pretty confident he did not plan out the song beforehand, even though no one actually can confirm this except for the people in the studio. He made up to six songs every session, and he recorded every day. Even abroad on world tours and vacations. Artists he worked with said he commonly freestyled entire songs in one take. If you listen to studio sessions as other people here suggested, you can hear how he made most his songs, by freestyling every 2 lines and punching in.

I love your reactions and altering viewpoints its good to learn new things and for discussion. Love the honesty in your reactions man keep up the work. Although theres him saying in an interview he legit did not put pen to paper to make his music after a certain point and you can listen to his studio sessions and see his creative process. thank you very much, I really appreciate that! Just for "argument's sake", you don't have to put pen to paper to write lyrics. They can be written and in your head still. That's usually my point about any of his bars I feel are written. But I'm not talking about this with malice, people just get offended SO EASILY about things that aren't actually important

As far as sing alongs go, i think the song is a great sing along. Yes ur right about the pre meditated lyrics. Juice would often record himself freestyling and would go back to hooks or bars he liked. He even had 1 liners that he memorized in his head, (no pun intended) that he would go to in multiple freestyles. I get why repetition is annoying but it was Juice's creative process.

I'm guessing the song is about overthinking. When you're an overthinker, you're always in your head. I can see where you're coming from, there's many different ways to write songs, juice was definitely pretty unique in his ability to make multiple bangers on the fly in one session.

Watch the sometimes studio session Basically the one he would make songs Was like a big puzzle Where he would say many different things to a beat until he found the flow for the song Really different way Compared to other artists And yes he had ideas Before going in the booth but when He rethought of them Before he had a complete song

So this is jw3 era which he didn’t write songs during that era. He didn’t go over in his head , So how juice would make music is however he’s feeling in the moment is how the song would come about. what he’d do in the studio. Go in without pen and paper. And he’s go in the studio they throw on the beat and he would feeesryle either full bars/verses but most of the time he would basically freestyle a line or 2 then , let the engineer play it over to him in the headphones and then freestyle another line- 2 ect. They basically keep having the engineer play it over and he would redo lines to make it sound better or more clever but so technically it isn’t normal freestyling but it’s a version of it no doubt. I hope that finally makes sense to you how he made songs. Which is why in a 3 year period he made over 3000 songs, you can’t do that writing lol

Imo Tupac was very similar to XXXtentacion in that his lyrics were deep and powerful and Juice was deff the Notorious BIG of this generation. Biggie has so many party songs and you cant deny biggies flow. L'sND.

I’ll explain the “every song is 100% freestyled” thing. Basically juice didn’t write any lyrics to the songs you hear. He went in a studio, freestyled to a beat for a while and then he takes the part of that freestyle that he likes best and punches into the song he’s creating. You can look up Juice Wrld studio sessions to see kinda what I mean. So yes, this song was 100% freestyled but it’s not like he just one takes it without problems.
