I also want to mention that horse meet is healthy and “strong” meat. That is how our grandparents called it long time ago. They told us that you became stronger and would be better protected against illnesses when you ate horse meat. Because horse meat it rare to find in the supermarkets or butchers, it is expensive too and most people bought that kind of meat for sick family members. I don’t know if that is a story or the truth, but I think it can be true.

For me it is a strange thing to see when people can buy a complete horse tail with skin and fur. In my country we can only buy “totally cleaned” meat that has to be slaughtered and handled like the rules and regulations of the country. I think that it is only allowed in your own house when you are a farmer… Just like grandma here with here chickens and gooses and ducks. I can totally accept this way of living of course it is just strange for me to see how different our habbits ans lives and rules/laws are.

This is a frequently used food around here. In fact, it tastes better than ordinary meat. It just needs to be thoroughly cleaned and cooked, my beautiful friend. Beef tail is available at butchers. Ooooh what a stupid mistake of me! 🤭🤭🤭🤭 Oxtail is indeed very good to eat and also for soup. My grandma used to make that often for our family. She alwys put tomatoes in that soup and it was delicious. She was a great cook and a fantastic grandma and godmother to me. Oxtail meat is delicious and that you can find in the supermarkets here but it is rare or you can order it . @@chefgrandmacooking
