Thoom - • തൂം എങ്ങിനെ ഈസി ആയി മി...
• ഹമ്മുസ് വീട്ടിൽ തയ്യാറ... - Hummus
Ingredients
For marination
Chicken -1/2kg
Curd -2tbsp
Paprika powder or chilli powder -1tsp
Pepper powder -1/2tsp
Salt-
Lemom juice or vinegar -1tbsp
All spice powder or spice powders or garam masala -1/4tsp
Olive oil or any oil except coconut oil -1tbsp
Ginger -1tsp
Garlic -1tbsp
Sauce
Curd -4tbsp
Mayo-2tbsp
Thahini Paste -1tsp (opt)
Garlic -1
Lemom Juice -1tbsp
Salt-
Pepper Powder -2pinch
Tomato
French fries
Lettuce or cabbage
Pickled cucumber ,chilli etc ..
Method
Marinate chicken and keep in the fridge for minimum 1 hour ..
Heat oil in high flame ,place chicken and grill both sides for 2 minutes each sides .
Close and cook for another 5 minutes in low flame ..
Then keep aside ..
Prepare the sauce by adding everything together
Then assemble the shawarma as shown in the video .. Enjoy

Hey Veena...i made shawarma using ur recipe and also did the kupoos and toum recipe instead of the mayo sauce...it was a true nostalia for me....i used to have these at least weekly once when i was in abu dhabi...and i miss it sooo badly....but now the recipe is in my fingertips....Thank u very much

Veena dear, thank you very much. I followed your step by step instructions and shwarma came out as a delight to our eyes.i didn't had that thahini paste , but still the sauce was super delicious.
