@@sandywhite7782​​⁠Thank you for liking Tanghulu, we are sad because more and more corean people saying tanghulu is korean snack, actually it’s Chinese traditional dessert that has more than one thousand years. when Chinese delicacies enter Korea, such as malatang, tanghulu, and turn popular in korea, then they will claim that these are Korean foods. It’s a pity.

The original Chinese version has more caramelized sugar that gives it a browner shine. Maybe Korean use white sugar. And it's also missing the starch paper which gives it a crispy bite. Tanghulu is a 'healthy' dessert

I used baking soda to clean my fruit. Research has shown that it can remove the pesticides and wax from fruit better than vinegar.

It's not salt and baking powder, it's agar powder agar powder helps to thinly coat the fruit with sugar.

​​@@BeautifulNative26 if you want to keep it easy. You can mix just white sugar with water, bring to boil in pot. Have separate pot cold with ice. Gently roll your roll in the hot pot to coat it, then dip in ice water and set down or set down on a tray to cool off and harden as they did in a fridge to skip the excess ingredients. It comes out exactly the same!

99% of the video was spent putting fruits on the stick. It isn't clear what happens after that, is the fruit baked or what?

Sorry That’s Chinese food not Korean food.. Just don’t let culture appropriation things happen more thanks 🙏 Tanghulu is our traditional Chinese food which alreday existed in Tang dynasty. We eat it since we’re kids whole now every Koreans introduce Tanghulu as their food 🤮It just becomes popular in recent years in Korea. And they change the tiny point of it and advocate to the world as Korean Tanghulu. Even Tanghulu is exactly Chinese pinyin( our pronunciation character) and Korean can’t explain what does Tanghulu mean 😅. They put K-food mark on Tanghulu and sell everywhere. Koreans like to blurry Chinese food as East-asian food so that they can become something shared in common with Koreans later. While it’s really bad culture appropriation behavior 😅
