There used to be this thing that bars would play called speed dating. You would have the opportunity to meet four or five girls or boys in that evening. You would pair up with people just to meet for 15 minutes of conversation. It really got you out there and have the opportunity to meet people you probably wouldn't have in a different situation. I think ,It was good for the bars also for bringing people in and selling a drink.

Hey Alex, I just wanted to add about the pressure of being single - everyone lives on their own individual time. That's why I don't recommend comparing yourself to someone else, social assumptions about when something should happen are just that - assumptions. They are neither laws nor requirements that we all have to fulfill at specific times. Your time is your own - enjoy it!
