Love that you are adding the fence! Alot of people don't think to do that cause they want it to look a certain way but honestly kids do what they want and if they have the freedom to jump in the pool even without you they will. I knew someone who's baby drowned. They kept him on life support for months almost a year just hoping for miracles but eventually had to let his little body finally rest. It's scary 😨
