There's no basis for this fake geto to be a curse ngl, it was eluded to in S1 when he mocked hanami's saying "we are the true humans after all" when he responded shortly after hanami went to save jogo from gojo with "what a thing to say coming from a cursed spirit". The curse technique of fake geto is stated to replace his brain with another inside of a body and he can use the said body's curse technique...curses don't have brains plus why would a curse have a technique to hijack a human body when a curse's body is made up of cursed energy thus heal itself with it and not be as vulnerable as humans. Fake geto is most likely a sorcerer, if you pay attention to his dialogues/monologues during S1 and S2.

You're calling the transfigured humans curses, but they're not curses. Mahito who is a curse turns humans into those transfigured humans. Humans can see the transfigured humans, but can't see curses like Mahito and Jogo.
