Jujutsu Kaisen reminds me so much of Naruto and Bleach but in a way that I appreciate its inspiration and not assume that it is unoriginal. It has many elements of its own that allows it to stand out separately from those two as well.

Hello everyone, today I want to talk about one of my favorite anime, Jujutsu Kaisen. Before I begin, let me just say that I am a big fan of Gege Akutami and his work. He has created a world filled with badass female characters like Maki Zenin and a group of entertaining antagonists like Geto, Toji, Kenjaku, Mahito, and the king of all curses, Sukuna. It's refreshing to see a shonen anime with such a strong and diverse cast. However, as much as I love Jujutsu Kaisen, I cannot ignore its flaws. And I think it's important to discuss them so that the creators can improve and make this already great anime even better. Firstly, let's talk about the underdeveloped side characters. Yuki and Todo are two characters that have so much potential, but their abilities and backstories are barely explored. Yuki's cursed technique of manipulating shadows could have been utilized in more creative ways, but sadly, we didn't get to see that. And Todo's cursed technique of manipulating emotions was only used once in the entire series. Imagine how much more interesting the fights could have been if these characters were given more screen time and development. And speaking of side characters, let's not forget about those who were killed off too soon. Nanami, Nobara, and Yuki were all fan favorites, but their deaths felt rushed and unnecessary. They had so much potential to contribute to the overall story, but their deaths felt like they were just used for shock value. It's a shame because these characters had so much potential, and it's a waste to see them go so soon. Another flaw in Jujutsu Kaisen is the rushed battles. Don't get me wrong, the fight scenes are amazing, but sometimes it feels like they're trying to cram too much into one episode. The pacing can be inconsistent, and it takes away from the intensity of the battles. I wish the creators would take more time to build up the tension and give the fights the attention they deserve. And while we're on the topic of battles, can we talk about how the sorcerers never seem to take a break? They're always fighting and risking their lives, but we never see them taking any downtime. It would be nice to see them bond and interact outside of battle. This would not only add depth to their characters but also give us a break from the constant action. Now, I know some of you might compare Jujutsu Kaisen to other classic shonen anime like Bleach, Hunter X Hunter, and Yu Yu Hakusho. And while I agree that those are amazing series, I don't think it's fair to compare them to JJK. Each of these anime has its own strengths and weaknesses, and they should be appreciated for what they are. But, I do have to say that Jujutsu Kaisen is miles ahead of Demon Slayer. Yes, I said it. Demon Slayer may have spectacular animation, but that's about it. The main character is boring, the final boss was underwhelming, and let's not even talk about all the plot holes. It's a shame that such a poorly written series gets so much hype just because of its animation. It belongs in the garbage section of shonen anime. In conclusion, Jujutsu Kaisen, like any other anime, has its flaws. But that doesn't take away from the fact that it's an amazing series with a unique story and an incredible cast of characters. I have faith that the creators will continue to improve and make this anime even better. And as fans, let's appreciate the good and constructive criticism to help make this series one of the best in the shonen genre. Thank you. , let's not forget about those who were killed off too soon.
