Megumi and Nanami both are probably the most stable and upstanding characters in the entirety of this anime. And in the case of Megumi, he seems like the only sane one among his squad whenever they are hanging out together (Nobara, Yuuji and occasionally Gojo) as well lmao 🤣🤣❤️

Watching the anime and reading the manga, I can see how the fandom characterizes him a bit wrong. Oftentimes he's fan written as "always snappy and irritable with everyone" but in fact he's super polite in both his mannerisms (sans his Middle school years lol) and speech (but opts for informal speech with his same age friends) even with this deadpan tone. It just so happens that nearly everyone in JJK are crazy in one way or another and Megumin is often the tsukkomi 😂 Yuuji describes him being snappy when using his powers one time and some fan content creators decided to run with that lmao

I noticed that too. Also Megumi's qualities is that contrary to other deuteragonist, Megumi is actually pretty honest and caring about his loved one, even if he isn't as obvious with it than Yuuji. He's really a good character with nuance.

My people🙌 Speaking nothing but facts💯. The fact that some fans refer to him as a Tsundere discombobulates me like you wouldn't believe. I'm like; are we looking at the same character orrrrr? Isn't Fushiguro way too pleasant to be a Tsundere??? As you said, he's definitely a more nuanced character. In contrast to Nobara and Yuuji he's more reserved and serious, but unlike Tsunderes... Fushiguro is not above letting people know he cares.

Yeah, he didnt really valued his own life or believed in his own abilities since the start of the series, like gojo points out during the flashback near the end of the anime. Everytime a fight gets kinda hard he just tries to pop that shikigami on a kamikaze attack, convinced that risking/sacrificing his life is the only and most eficient way for him to win.

@@ellainearcilla2902Of course Tsumiki loved him , she took care of him in every aspect other than finances (that part was all Gojo, since Tsumiki was too young to work anyways). I like to think probably spoiled Megumi just a bit because he wants him to enjoy his youth (he has seen the outcome of those who got their youth robbed from them.)
