in this series, there’s this thing called binding vows. Nanami did it with Mahito in S1 E9. It’s called *Revealing One's Hand ( Jōhō no Kaiji).* If you tell your enemy your cursed technique it gives increased power to cursed energy output. You can explain your Cursed technique as deceptively as you like, as long as you explain the basics, you gain increased Curse Energy output.

Megumi was the one who made the comment about his name, but he was talking about his first name. Megumi is typically a female Japanese name. He was angry with his father for giving him a female name despite being a boy. Megumi is a Zen'in by blood but a Fushiguro in name only. mentioned in S1

This backstory was a bit surprising when I first read it. Like Geto was actually so nice, Gojo was always more like "not evil" but not necessarily heroic. Geto was literally virtuous, he even tried instilling his morals to Gojo. Which make his eventual demise more tragic 😭

@Antonio_0722 imo, a part of him never truly changes. He's always very idealistic and has that familial love to the people he cares about. I just think that after the events that conspire, he feels like he's putting his priority in the wrong place so that's why he switched side after getting the conclusion that he's supposed to be looking out for sorcerers not the other way around. Also, someone as idealistic as him will always have an extreme reaction whenever their ideology shattered.

Just a refresher on Gojos technique from season 1. BLUE pulls, RED pushes, PURPLE combines Blue and Red to pretty much annihilate anything in its path by pushing and pulling at apart at the same time.

The easy way to answer your question is for you to recall Megumi's technique: The Ten Shadows Technique, exclusive to the Zenin Clan. He's the only one of the clan who has been born with it, that we've seen thus far. Plus we know Maki & Mai are related to Megumi (his second Aunts iirc) If "that" guy changed his last name after marrying another woman (aka "Fushiguro") then that means that Megumi's last name was also changed. Because if Megumi was blood related to the Fushiguro family and not this guy, he can't have the Zenin Clan's Ten Shadows Technique because it's genetic. So, there's your answer.

Your explanation is correct, but if Megumi's father is Zen'in and his mother is Fushiguro then *The Ten Shadows Inherited Cursed Technique* is still hereditary. Yes the second wife is Fushiguro, but you didn't explain it properly.

I'm trying to point out the flaw in the way Slim Shazy explained it --"Because if Megumi was blood related to the Fushiguro family and not this guy, he can't have the Zenin Clan's Ten Shadows Technique because it's genetic" That's just wrong. If the father is Zen'in, the child(Megumi) can inherit The Zen'in Clan's *Inherited Cursed Technique* regardless of who the mother is. That's what I'm trying to point out in his explanation.

Reverse curse technique can be used for healing. And in season 1 shoko is basically a doctor. Megumin mentions that sukuna can heal with reverse curse technique in episode 5 of season 1 when he thinks about how sukuna grew yuji's hand back.

An explanation the manga gives for why sorcerers tend to cover their eyes was left out of the anime. Essentially, cursed spirits can't be seen by most people, and so when then notice that they are seen and being watched, they tend to get aggressive. Gojo may have some extra reason to cover his eyes with his six eyes technique, but you'll also notice that Nanimi and Mei Mei also cover their eyes. If you want to be pedantic, Gakuganji's facial structure naturally cover's his eyes.

Incorrect. He took his first wife’s name. Once he remarried to Tsumiki’s mother they took his name which was already Fushiguro. Gege refers to Megumi’s real mom as mamaguro.

just to clarify the high school year stuff: Gojo and Geto are second years, meaning in a normal American school system, they'd be juniors in high school. Utahime is a year older than them, so that makes her a third year at the high school, which is the equivalent of her being a high school senior Edit: Utahime is actually a few years older meaning she already graduated highschool while Gojo and Geto are still students

This has been said by others but it's mostly buried in the replies to incorrect assumptions, so I'll state it again. Fushiguro was the name of Megumi's birth mum. Toji genuinely cared for her and took her name, simultaneously giving up the Zen'in name. By the time Toji got with Tsumiki's mum, Toji was back to his old ways (womanising, etc.), so naturally did not take Tsumiki's mum's name. Instead, Tsumiki (and presumably her mum) took Toji's name (which was already Fushiguro).

You can really tell how much Gojo was still getting used to his technique. As an adult Gojo has his force field active all the time and it’s automatic, but as a teenager he has to manually activate it. He’s also not as precise and gets exhausted using his technique. Despite all that I think he’s already considered Special Grade, so is Geto. That’s why they were sent on such an important mission.

The reason the old man was cocky when going up against Geto, is because traditionally. Shikigami users aren’t know for their prowess in close quarters combat, and while Geto is isn’t a Shikigami user, he uses a similar technique. They prefer to keep their distance. He underestimated Geto’s efficiency in martial arts and got punished accordingly. Megumi is another Shikigami user who doesn’t mind getting up close and personal with his opponent. Sukuna commented and praised Megumi for this quality in S1.

Megumi biological mom is the mother of his sister, but they have different dads, Megumi´s dad being Toji and his sister we don´t know her dad, and Fushiguru comes from his second Wife, not Megumi´s mom, but when they took the name he made Megumi take it as well, but yea Megumi and Toji are Blood Zenins

Gojo is totally overrated... 80% of him is the fusion between Urahara and Kakashi, the other 20% an upgrade in appearance and powers so the author won't be sued for plagiarism... if he wasn't handsome or didn't have the luggage bought of two of the best senseis in anime, he would be nothing...just a guy to make needy girls hysteria.
