For this diesel gala at the Chinnor & Princes Risborough Railway the event organisers called in for visitors from DRS & GBRF, from DRS they got class 37 no, 37409 Lord Hinton, from GBRF they got class 66 no, 66702 Blue Lightning & class 25 no, D7612 from the South Devon Railway. These were joined by the residents of the line class 17 no, D8568 class 31 no, 97205 (31163/D5581), class 37 no, 37227 with class 08 no, D3018 Haversham working brakevan rides at Princes Risborough and to help the class 17 run around during the afternoon. After an adjustment to the timetable the planned use of the class 121 Diesel Railcars nos, W55023 & W55024 didn't happen but we were treated to the thrash of these ex BR locomotives & the shed powering up the line on gradients up to 1 in 68
