Here's proof that it doesn't take a lot of people to make all kinds of great music. Wonderful session!

I'm speechless...I remember seeing Juli ten years ago, he could not be still while playing. Josep you get such a good clean and crisp sound out of that old box. ❤️👍🏻👍🏻😎

The opening song is "Sugar" by Maceo Pinkard, written in1926, and made famous by a duet of Bing Crosby and Louis Armstrong in 1960.

Opened with a great jazz number..Sweet Lorraine! Super clarinet and, as always, mighty fine guitar work. Love your easy, swinging style, Josep. I catch you frequently with Joan Chamorro. This vid has a wonderful, eclectic mix of music!

Here's Sweet Loraine with Josep on guitar. Old jazz pro Bobby Gordon on vocal. Eva Fernandez plays a soulful solo sax. Probably one of Bobby Gordan's very last recordings. Just another perfect little gem from Joan Chamorro & company. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/hcypdtyUy6i9eYE.html

I think the opener was Sugar, not Sweet Lorraine. The melody is indeed a little similar, though!

It's a reproduction. The give-away is the location of the cord that runs to the amp. It exits through the tail block, where the tailpiece is screwed in. This turns out to be the strongest, most stable place to put the output jack--much more stable than drilling a hole in the wood that is bent to be the side of a guitar. The only thin is, this was not done until the 1980s or 90s. It is commonplace for acoustic and archtop guitars now, of course.

@@alanlevin167 THANKS to share subtle info .I UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU MEAN about the most accurate location for the jack plug . The reinforced and almost flat heel is much better than the fragile " éclisse " ( often damaged ) . I should add to my comment deep congratulations TO Josep TRAVER who makes it greater again . His strumming and tone deserves five stars . I do appreciate his playing I discovered years ago with the CHAMORO's talented cats . I'm curious about the amp equipment he used for the session . ....and don't forget DJANGO played occasionally a LEVIN archtop guitar !!!!
