Who starts a movie like that! 🤯 Sam Esmail that's who.
The creator of "Homecoming" and "Mr. Robot" crafted yet another story centered around cyber attacks. And though this film leaves much to desire from the acclaimed director, it does have a BANGER of an opening scene with Julia Roberts in what can only be described as a suffocatingly blue bedroom (which we hope it was intentional).
We wonder if it is this bold no-bullsh*t opening what is ultimately the downfall of this movie, since it fails to deliver at that level time and time again in any of its plot lines through the movie's runtime 😢
Still, that prologue is not at risk of leaving our minds any time soon 🙌

I liked this movie. It mixes some plausible scenarios with the creepiness of something supernatural at work. I won't give up the story line. The take away is really how useless we all are without the pampered, high tech lives we live. This scene, for me, was the best part of the movie. Probably because I was not expecting this type of character from Julia Roberts.

Very interesting premise indeed, and a banger of an opening scene. We just found the storyline went kind of nowhere and there was no payoff to the build up. Didn't you think?

Great acting, great film-making, but not great on wisdom, kindness, and courage -- humans have advanced their world to where it could save Gaza and Ukraine and block pandemics and asteroids -- and instead all is swirling in confusion. I like to think it's the swirling of salmon stalled while waiting to adjust between saltwater and freshwater -- and then going ahead.

@@grovegirlforever I've cancelled Netflix and disney, most of the films that are recently made are way too woke I speak with my money on what I choose to watch and I have a brain so I don't need telling by Hollywood how I should think, live t.v seems to be all reality shows but I do watch documentaries if that offends you tough, concentrate on your own life.

I hate the racist comment in this show for that I have mixed feels I understand it and can relate although it isn’t helpful to people trying to focus on equality and a positive future
