+Rainbowful Mae when my room is messy I actively protect myself from that situation by telling my mom I'm going to clean it really thoroughly tomorrow because it's getting to late for that today and I have work to do, and then she sees me as a responsible planner while I say that same thing for the next three weeks.

Oh my gosh THANK YOU! I have ocd as well, and I CANNOT STAND a messy room. But I'm too lazy to clean it, so I just move into the bonus room to sleep xD. when I do end up cleaning it though, it will take HOURS to finish. I have to make sure EVERY S I N G L E LITTLE THING is in the right, matching spot

Other KZfaqrs be like: My room is SUCH a mess!! (when it's like a few shirts on the floor, a cup and plate on the dresser from lunch, and their bed needs to get made) I'm like: My room is such a mess ( and it was like her room but a little worse. I had cups full of MOLDY drinks. Last time I cleaned my room (as in December), there was a plate IN MY DRESSER DRAWER from WEEKS ago and I don't know what it was (I think Mac and Cheese) but it was COVERED IN FUZZY MOLD. I suck at cleaning my room
