Being able to defend a player who’s on vini’s level is impressive . Julian has a lot of potential and he could reach Rafa Márquez’s skill if he keeps growing at this rate.

The problem is Xavi. He will come and drop their forms like he has done to balde, Gavi, pedri, araujo, Lopez, Torre, Torres, raphinha

Araujo deserved so much better, guy was patient with the team until he could play yet he was shipped out so fast. I know Cancelo is superb but I doubt if Barca can sign him at the end of the season even if they can, Araujo could have provided a perfect cover. He has the same profile as Ronald Araujo; strength,speed, stamina and agility and those are perfect qualities for modern day defender. I love him.

he wasnt shipped out fast its just he was too good for the B team and not good enough for the first team so he was loaned out for this season so he could get some minutes under a very good coach and then hopefully comeback with better understanding of how to play in laliga. and also cancelo is a priority for barca and most likely will end up at barca next season but that doesnt mean hulian wont get a chance with the first team (unless we sign a new right back with cancelo)

If we can sign cancelo I think he should come and be the back up. If not he should go on loan to a relatively bigger club than las palmas. He needs to improve his attacking. Barça's defence is looking really good we have a top fb in cancelo and some decent ones too. Even the academy there's hector fort. So with the CB pretty much locked and fb we are safe for the future.

It's was good for him too play in low club and join back in summer. His learning barca way of play.

@@danimasri5068exactly. Xavi wants him to play top flight football. Spanish 3rd division ain’t it. Theres a reason why. Xavi has been open of wanting Araujo back next season. He impressed him at Las Palmas

I've been watching some of Las Palmas games this season and Barça should 100% bring Julian back for next season. He's fast, he's aggressive and good with the ball. Barça needs a players like him in the RB position so that Araujo can stay as a CB. Sign Cancelo back and sell Koundé.

Thay are just exceptional, loan move helps alot in a players development jut look at Fermin Lopéz now

Their defensive covering and physicality seems decent. I'd like to see what they are like going forward, on the ball, during buildup, etc. Because that's one thing I've noticed a lot of full backs try and fail to do at Barcelona. Even players I liked on paper, like Nelson Semedo, didn't really click at Barça.

Precisely why I think we need to focus on our attacking full back like Frimpong over getting a CAM next season. Faye and Araujo are both fast and strong. And can be trusted more to hold the back line. Our workrate of current field is of the charts anyways.

Nelson was the opposite of what Julian and Valle are, Nelson was never a good defender he just relied on his speed to bail him out. In 1v1’s he always got smoked, Valle and Araujo are miles ahead of what Semedo was as a defensive fullback.

RB we have Hector fort he play like cancelo he has potential to become the best right back in the word but he still 16 so he need only 2-3 years to become starter in first time
