In part two of our time with Julian Sprung, we delve into his history in the hobby dating back from his earliest exposure to saltwater aquariums. As far as we can tell, this is the first time Julian has explained how far back his love of everything saltwater started. In addition to our discussion with him about how it all started, he discusses his early collecting expeditions, his first writing for FAMA magazine, and his interaction with the early pioneers in the hobby. He also discusses the origin of Two Little Fishes and how his successful company got started. Lastly, he talks about what hobbyists can do to increase their love of nature. This video includes some classic photographs from the early days of the hobby. All in all, a nice nostalgic look at how the hobby got started by one of its most well-known pioneers.
