Charlie is so serious. Playing with his diaphragm trying to get everything correct. It’s honestly amazing to see this training, it’s something you never see for movies or shows with singing.

@carloss Loss in addition to your point, I think it could also be that those exercises were outside of their register/not for them. Happens sometimes during warmups that some people need a little extra or a little less of something, so it's very common for a couple people to just be chilling during certain parts. It's not necessarily because they're not paying attention or goofing off, but because that exercise is not for them... and usually that time is used wisely by drinking water or goofing off with the person closest to you, which is exactly what they did.

@carloss Loss I have a bit of experience from choir lessons and working in musicals. Nothing near as professional as the JATP production, but the singng excercises are pretty universal. (and the singers goofing off at every opportunity + becoming super close to each other is unversal as well)

I love how madison was messing most of the time but she was still hitting all the right notes and like there wasnt a note there that she couldnt hit. I still can't believe she was only like 15 or 16 there. She is so talented

I love that you can tell who's done vocal training before. Sav, Owen, and Jeremy know exactly what to do, Jadah and Madi are talking but also helping each other, and Charlie is super focused on the notes and singing from his diaphragm. As a person who was in choir for years, this warmed my musical heart, but also made me laugh a little. Love this!
