Unsaid Emily always makes me cry, especially when the lights show up from the tv and you know they just learned their son died, but the first time I really started crying when I first watched the show was when the rest of the band was playing it with him it just really made their friendship real

I agree with everything else, except that they weren't watching TV. Mitch was reading a book and Emily was knitting and the other flashbacks show the front of their house has big windows. The police showed up at their house and since they had not seen or heard from Luke they guessed what it was about.

You can tell the cast ACTUALLY cares about music. I’ve seen so many of their Instagram lives together & they’re always singing & talking about music. This is the kinda shows I wanna see more of. No more cheesy shows with “music” just to make it more “attractive.” They need REAL talent🙌🏼

@@makenzieanderson8256 The decision wasn't made by just the hire-ups. The actor and actress who play the characters said that they wouldn't feel comfortable with it. How far they do or do not go will depend heavily on their comfort levels, which is how it should be.

Yeah. It sucks. Former Disney head here who got HSM vibes but with better vocals and songs from this, is totally pissed. I mean, the cliffhanger alone was just begging for a season 2. It was a popular movie during the start of the pandemic too, WTF? As you can tell, I’m still salty.

For like a teenage tv/Netflix show, this is absolutely one of my favorites of all time. I LOVE their singing. Especially Charlie’s. The songs are amazing and so emotional with the story. You can tell they both have naturally great voices and I can’t wait to see what else Mads learns to refine her voice even more.

I've watched the 9 episodes with my 15 year old daughter. I cried at unsaid Emily. My daughter is learning the song on the guitar...it makes my tear up every time she plays it. Make the time to watch the shows. You'll like it

There’s actually a thing in Hollywood: if the actor is more than half of the actresses age or vice versa, the kissee can decide whether or not a kiss will happen. However, if the age difference is smaller, a kiss usually happens. I don’t know if that changed of anything to accompany minors, BUT it should be noted that if Madison Reyes wanted to kiss Charlie Gillespie and vice versa, a kiss more than likely would’ve happened (if her parents were okay with that too)

Honestly, I love how much thought was put into this show - even the wardrobe has meaning and backstory. Julie's sparkly dress, for example, was made by her mother just before her mother died and this was the first time Julie could bring herself to wear it (according to the costume designer).

Stand tall is so much more meaningful when you realise Julie thought the boys had disappeared forever and they had to break through Caleb’s curse to perform with Julie. Also when Luke was flickering he was fighting to stay alive and could of been destroyed by the jolts

I just finished watching Julie and the Phantoms today and the whole time I was watching it my grandmother was looking at me like I was crazy because I was totally fangirling over it and she was just like, "What is wrong with her?" I love this and all of the songs and i don't think I'm going to be able to find anything as good as this or better than this.
