I told my mom, i got teary-eyed when MJ died, I cried when Aaliyah died, I broke down eventually after my father died, but when something happens to Julie Andrews, I'm locking myself in my room and the only way I'll come out is if Beyonce herself drags me out. I LOV E JULIE ANDREWS SO MUCH! She's so classy, so elegant, so beautiful. Reminds me of the grandmother I don't remember but my siblings tell me about.

Yes Julie Andrews is truly gifted and in a class by herself. She's part of the Greatest Generation- that World War II era of people born to greatness and accomplishing great things for humanity - and in this case in the entertainment world. That generation had such spectacular talents - it spawned Robert Goulet and Richard Burton and Gene Kelly and Debbie Reynolds and Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers and Cyd Charisse and Donald O'Connor and Judy Garland and Andy Williams and Steve Lawrence and Carol Burnett and then Barbra Streisand and eventually Celine Dion.

There just aren't any greats like that anymore. That generation that had Andrea Bocelli and Placido Domingo and Luciano Pavarotti were the best.About the only ones who even come close in this day and age are Amy Grant and Ariana Grande.

Julie Andrews is the best. And to top it off she's a great and true lady in every sense of the word. She's polite and gracious and socially adept and has a fantastic sense of humor and elegance and grace.

I'm seeing this in 2020... Isolation is freaky...but the only person that has helped me get through this JULIE ANDREWS. I've been scouting out every thing I can find on her...movies..special...interviews...and old recording on KZfaq! Isolation is bearable when you have JULIE also reading to you on her new podcast! Thank you Julie!

@@Evejuk I have her second memior...and I'm reading now for the 3rd time. I haven't been able to purchase her first one due to limited finances...because I'm not working..lost my job in Feb. Every thing I can find on Julie has kept me sane! #julie4ever

"Finally, someone i can talk to about flying" hahahaha! The 2nd Princess Diaries was such a rip off compared to the first. The first was really witty and great lines while 2nd just became ridiculous after awhile. Oh and Julie Andrews will NEVER die! She will live forever and ever!
