“Your work and productivity is only as good as your mental health” ugh I couldn’t agree more! As a pre med student it is so easy to burnout and feel overwhelmed and having a reminder to take care of yourself first before your responsibilities is so helpful. Thanks Julie 💜💜

The part about the amount of pressure in your 20s to get things done is SO REAL!! I'm so glad to see and hear more people do not find this ok, our generation has to do with so much already all the time and to still have added this "necessity" to get our lives on track!? You're absolutely right, we have to put ourselves and our health first before anything, otherwise it will never be enough! thank u for the words, Julie!!💞

being 100% focus and getting into the ‘flow state’ is so so so important! When we see Julie is living her life and have time to do so many things other than school, dont forget the quality of the time she put in. Bcs i may be sitting in front of the table for 6 hours and my real focus time might be only 2 hours hahaha.. i really want to work on that and this vid inspired me towards that goal even more

its been a week since i wrote this and i must say i really improve the quality of my time i invest in by being more focus when working:))And also divided the workdays by different focus is such a good tips, i divided my days into research (doing thesis) and study/work in general and it turns out to be good, saves my energy and somehow make things less chaotic

There isn’t one video that you’ve posted that hasn’t boosted my mood, my productivity or my personal health. Thank you for this, I tend to forget to prioritize myself especially because I have to code for really long hours because I’m a CS major 😭💗

Focussing on one task at a time, as opposed to trying to multi-task many, produces better results. We are just not wired for chaos. But balance is also important. We need to take time for ourselves, as life is so short anyways, so enjoy! 😀

I'm still struggling, like literally struggling with having an equilibrium with my life and work i.e., my school works which completely affects my mental health and well-being. For once in my entire life time I just felt so burnt out, hopeless and tired due to my school works that I even have a thought of smoking 💀. I just find myself being so magnified by my school works and completely forgot to take care of myself e.g., having enough sleep and rest, forgetting my habbits. So it is really great that someone reminds me of this and actually help me to find BALANCEEE ~. Thanks Queen for this amazing video againnn 💖

You are my hero. I am doing intern and they kept telling me to expand myself more and more, work 200% of myself but I said NO. I just have 100% of my body and it needed rest, I focus 100% on the work at the office and go home, we have a life to live, either.

Hi, I have a video suggestion for a "Tips" video. Maybe you could give us tips on how to find the right relationships and friendships with people. For example, how do you know if they are really there for you, if they are worth your time and effort, or when to cut people off, etc. I just find your videos really helpful to my self-growth that I have been trying to do recently so maybe you'd be able to see this comment and proceed with this video idea!❤️

Mamma Mia, next day Rome! Your ending made me perfectly curious for your next posting. As always I feel your words of help are worth sending out into the wind to be picked up by the currents and dropped off to the world. My energy level is high and my burnout level my body takes care of in sleep. Not really healthy. I have a romantic story I'm working on, gathering ideas, making sketches etc. It flows easily and I get a sense when to start again, writing. I've also been dealing with recovery from surgery, and have been told I am slower than most people to recover, so be patient. Your words are key points to manage, and you say, yes it's difficult, but, with saying that, you think, but yes, it's possible, then probable, then manageable. Also, I liked your braids! You are taking care of yourself well and also the rest of us. Bye for now, or, Addio Signorina! Sending laughter and smiles into your days.

I just had a mental breakdown/burnout before watching this video. Been a month since I've moved to Melbourne and everyday had been so busy for me. Thanks for such inspiring and motivating words! Quality > Quantity. Period.

the light work vs deep work, and the whole idea of one day for one part of your life really makes so much sense and I definitely want to try it. i realised that i was cramming in deep work from every sector into certain days, and only light work on others leaving no opportunity for a rest day (fooling me into thinking i didn't have the 'time' for smth like that), but really thinking about your ideas are making me feel radically disposed to change, and even excited about it !?@?@. thank you so much for the great insights and all that you shared, julie!! love love love

One thing that I keep myself productive is organizing my daily schedule everyday in icloud calendar. Honestly, vlogging daily also helps me to be productive cuz I don't want to look lazy lol.
