It’s so refreshing, wonderful, and exciting seeing you work on Asian faces - probably because the mass majority of my clients are Asian and it’s so nice to see another artist’s application process.

Yes!! I work on quite a few Asian brides, but most don't let me film. I'm the only Asian makeup artist in my area so a lot of middle eastern/Asian brides usually seek me out. It's always nice to see other work on Asian clients as well!

FYI I watched till the end :) I love how you do such natural looks on all the bridemaids. I thought bridal only looks good with full coverage foundation, but you do great work using minimal foundation.

Thank you so much! I love creating enhanced versions of people and hardly ever use full coverage foundations. In my area, brides prefer having lighter coverages and more natural looks :)

I also always have the feeling I’m forgetting things. The biggest thing I fear I’m forgetting is my brushes. I have pulled over several times to check my bag 😑

Hi Julie! I’m a newer subscriber and I’ve been binge watching and loving your content!! I know this is an older video so I’m not sure if you’ll see this but I was in the middle of watching this video and needed to comment about the verb hair line. I work at ulta beauty and everyone I know that’s tried it ended up having major hair loss after using it. Please don’t use it! IGK is def a better line to use. I think the good reviews are fake honestly. I just wanted to warn you just in case!! ♥️ xoxo

Good I’m not the only freak that loves washing brushes🥰 I watch documentaries while I wash my brushes too. Learnt lots about big cats. Snow leopards are apparently little dare devils that will see lunch and will literally jump off a mountain side to get it. Very think on your paws kind of cat. They’re very bouncy, durable cats so they can take a fall

@Misty Cruz I've heard great things about Joico's line as well. I haven't heard of the other product from Drybar. Thanks for the recommendations! Funny thing about the brush cleaning...I commented one day about that to him and he basically said no way in his own words lol no help whatsoever!

Thank you so much! No, I don't require a contract for non-bridal clients, but I do still require a 50% retainer fee to book them. I leave the sheet mask on for about 5-8 minutes since I still have time restrictions to abide by.

I'd love to know what shimmer you used on the lids, looks like maybe it was a cream from a pot? Since my kit was stolen, the cream shimmers I used as a base have been discontinued and I can't find a replacement I like:(

Hi Sara! It actually was one of the Colourpop super shock shadows. They're not creams, but pressed glitters. I used the shade Koosh :) I hate when my favs are discontinued!

Do you charge people for you applying their own lashes that they bring? ( if they aren’t having you do their makeup) If so how much? I’ve ran into this once and I did it free of charge because It was awkward when they asked but it was a pain because the lashes they brought were awful quality and didn’t want to stay on, etc.

Hi great question! I personally don’t use other peoples lashes they supply just my own. Partially for the reason you mentioned and then also just for liability reasons :)

I freelance and also work under a studio, she secures jobs for me for a percentage and she adds 15% gratituity, maybe consider that.? I have still gotten cash tips on top so far

Thanks for sharing! I raised my prices this year so I just need to keep reminding myself that I raised them for a reason so even if I didn’t get tips it’s still enough. I’ve learned that tips are just a bonus.
