I investigate various ways of needle felting a smooth finish and share with you my findings, answering questions such as:
Does the type of wool you use make the needle felted item smoother and not fluffy?
How do you get a felted finish that isn’t holey?
Do you need to buy special needle felting needles?
Or are there other methods you can use that don’t cost anything?
I’ll show you all the techniques I tried such as applying heat by ironing the needle felted item, using cling film and trimming your finished felted item and I’ll show you what affect stabbing a lot more with specialist needles such as 42 gauge triangular needle or a 40 gauge twisted or spiral needle.
If you do find it helpful it would mean the world to me if you’d click on the like button.
