That Rollie thing is an ink blotter. You would sign your name with a fountain pen, and the ink would be wet. You would roll that thing over your signature to blot the ink. On Julie, so many amazing things!!!!! 😊❤😊❤

I was shocked to see you pass by the wooden bunny napkin rings...lol. And THOSE TALL DOLLS !!!! Gorgeous ! Some of those old stuffed monkeys looked like Steiffs. Not sure, but they were nice. The old books got my heart racing. Fabulous haul !

Enjoyed your estate sale, especially when you were talking about the little red books, my brother just sent me 10 of them from a hoarder who pasted away and left everything. Had no family and my brother is helping to sell everything for hardly nothing. They live in Vt.

Oh Julie, I loved that old sheet music! So many treasures! That is my cup of tea. I would've had to get that beautiful table for $75! It would've been a lot higher at an antique shop! I wouldn't have any room either, but still!!! 😊

I think I would have had trouble leaving any of it behind lol. It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a sale like that, I used to love going to sales like that.

It looks so pretty there. Yes its nice here in IL, but the road you traveled is very pretty with the trees on both sides of the road. The 2 baskets were so different and pretty. Couldn't hear you much through the estate sale. Have no favorite because you chose stuff I love. I would frame that pillow cover as an art piece, it is beautiful. Watched from Pekin, IL

*Julie, this was a fabulous estate sale❣️😊 I loved the artwork, music sheets and other ephemera you purchased, too‼️ The low crock bowl is a dog's 🐕 water bowl. The crewel pillow cover is another one of my favorites❣️ But I wouldn't make it into a pillow where it could get stained and worn out...I would frame it in a shadow box and hang it as art. 😉 The fabric looks to me like silk. The ink blotter (the thing you asked us to identify) is another one of my favorites...it was made to blot up the excess ink from quill and/or fountain pens. It would look GREAT on someone's desk❣️Of course, I would love to own many of the books, 📚 too - especially the leather-bound ones❣️😉 The end table with the drawer and the coffee table with the ornate base were both keepers and would have gone home with me‼️ I would either make room or sell something I didn't like as much and swap them out, LOL❣️🤣🤣🤣* *I'm in Minnesota and all of the leaves are off of our trees, we have had our first snow - but it melted away in 2 days - temperatures have been in the 30's and 40's here....Brrrr‼️🥶 The weathet you are having in Missouri looks like our September and early October weather. The curvy thing is an ink blotter, used when writing with fountain pens and inkwells. The blotter keeps the ink from smearing, place over the writing and roll it.

Those old George Magazines can be worth big money.

The vintage books are a treasure. The dolls look like "boudoir" dolls which were popular in the 1920's. Some were dressed in elaborate outfits and were displayed on beds.

Maybe the cushions are missing so that no one could sit on the furniture. ?
