*Love* Julio - have been watching him for a few years. So glad Stephen had him on. For those that don’t know him, he has an *extremely* dry, at times dark, very creative and clever sense of humor. Imagining snake that regrets having to scare people is exactly on point for him. It’s common for new audiences to not be quite ready for him, because his delivery is so subtle and un-rushed-it can take a few minutes realize how funny he’s being and get on board with it, which I imagine can be tough to capture in a short interview segment like this. Looking forward to seeing the movie!

He is just flamboyant, it’s not a hard thing to understand. Once you meet one you meet them all. Stereotypes are a real thing, is it your bias towards an expected logical outcome or a desire to conform to his mythology of contemplation?

"ship 'em" is a go-to shorthand for me and my dad, about things that we've deemed good enough (but really aren't, we just don't care, it's depressing how useful it is), largely taken from Elf. I know that's not what you're going for but I can't read it without being charmed (Also, if you're my dad, legally you have to tell me. I know you aren't, and that's not true, but I can't resist the joke) To be clear, I too want these products to exist

It was unfortunately not everywhere (not shown in all cities in usa) but that might've been a problem with A24 possibly. Hopefully Julio is back on the show sometime, he's really great! He currently has a show called Fantasmas that he created and stars in.
